As a male classical dancer, I face so many obstacles.
Dance is as essential a service as medicine and engineering!
Doctors minister to the body, engineers design the places we inhabit, and dance?
Dance ministers to the soul.
We declared independence 75 years ago - but - are we really independent?
We still wear the fetters of prejudice towards those who dare to be different.
Let’s continue to break the chains that bind us in so many ways and - together - dance our way
into a new land of hope and inclusion!
