Seeing Batman go though the process of making his contingencies and question them would have been compelling from a character standpoint.
Agreed. For one, I don't think it makes sense to pack all his countermeasures into one suit. You are essentially placing all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. Personally, I think it's more tactically sound to create dedicated platforms for each Justice League member. Batman could have these assets be automated drones or remote controlled by Alfred, as even Batman shouldn't be able to keep up with all the Justice League members at once. Another problem is how writers just equalize Batman's tech with his enemies. Suddenly, Batman has a weapon that can track Flash's movements - no history of development or implementation in other designs. One last thing, I would like to see something other than Kryptonite or red sun-based weaponry for Superman. It's low hanging fruit at this point, when Superman has other weaknesses that are rarely exploited.

Either that floor was made of something really soft and flexible and Bruce hardly felt it when he got his head shoved through that floor...

Let’s be real, if any of the Justice league actually wanted to kill Batman, he would be dead. No, Batman’s suit could not keep up with the flash no matter how much money he spent on it. He would not even be able to comprehend that flash is coming. He would just be dead. He would not even realize he was dead. He would just go from eyes open, to nothing, as Flash vibrated his fingers through Batman’s face at faster than light speed.
Superman would not waste time monologuing. He would punch through that suit like butter, fist through Batman’s face.
Basically, how Omniman fought. No BS. Batman dead in an instant. Period.
The only ones he has a chance against are WW and Aquaman. Because they are relatively slow.
