    What do you do with that beautiful scooter after the battery dies?

  • @TheCoolCourier

    Ergonomically....@ 0:45 the controls should've been placed on the left side of the scooter. I don't see myself pressing any of those buttons while I'm throttling w/the same right hand. IJS. - The Cool Courier

    Feels like it's meant to compete with the Unagi Model One as a trunk scooter.
    I'm impressed with the weight/performance, but I was really hoping for a more higher-end, dual motor e-scooter with suspension that competes with the Apollo City Pro 2023 or similar.
    This looks like it would be a great add-on for a vehicle, where if you work in an urban area, you can park farther away out of dense traffic or where there may be free parking, and just use the e-scooter the rest of the way.
    However, aside from going to places with the family, I've pretty much replaced my vehicle use for all solo errands of 40 km round trips with my NIU KQi3 Max, but it lacks turn signals, suspension, and dual motors for easier hill climbing, which there is a lot of where I live.

      @niumobility  Год назад +4

      Hey Scott, our intention was to design an ultra portable scooter that still offers great performance and a ton of other features compared to everything else on the market. The 9.5" tires, wide deck (19cm / 7.5") and wide handlebars (54cm / 21.3") make this a very comfortable ride. (The KQi Air X and KQi Air do have integrated turn signals btw and 20% hill climb! :)

      @@niumobilityI understand. I'm thinking of probably replacing my KQi3 Max and KQi2 Pro with one of these models, since I already have a larger dual motor scooter. I still don't have a clear understanding of the differences between Air / Air X. Currently, the only difference I see in your descriptions is a minimal weight reduction, despite the big price difference.

    Please consider using this frame for a dual motor, minimum 800watt each tire since it is 30% grade where I live. Montains, montains and more montains...

    I don't mind 5 extra pounds for another 350 watt motor, then I would buy. At least it should be an option for those of us who want a little be more power and MPH (25-30) more fun too. I'am in the market for an ultra portable commuter scooter like the Fluid Mosquito or the Uscooter gt sport and the only thing holding me back from buying it is the stupid solid tires. Why can companies give buyers the choice of these upgrades for those who are willing to pay the extra bucks. Thanks NIU

      Our aim was to build a light-weight scooter that's less than 26lbs, that doesn't sacrifice on performance or comfort. You won't find a lighter scooter on the market with a full carbon fiber frame 31mile range, 9.5" tires, front disc brakes, a wide deck for comfortable riding, 700 watt max rear wheel drive, integrated turn signals, NFC unlock and more :)

      At 25.8lbs and 26.2 lbs you could carry a KQi Air X or KQi Air in both hand and they'd still be more than 17lbs lighter than an Apollo City Pro or Phantom :) In fact, 3 KQi Air X's have the equivalent weight of an Apollo Phantom. We've targeted an ultra lightweight portable scooter, that still has great performance (20mph top speed and 31 mi range, 700w peak motor).

    It's still too heavy. I just need to cover the last mile where I cannot find a parking to take my company's shuttle to office. It's only 1.5 mile, but I don't wanna take anything heavier than 20lbs to onboard the shuttle. Unfortunately now vendors do not make these models or with less features. As people are returning to office, this last mile issue would be very common.
