Hi friend, do you take the hot rails with output DCR 10.9 (exactly to neck and/or middle) or take the hot rails brigde with output DCR 16.6 on the middle and neck?

I have it factory set. So the neck is probably the lowest output

Is the bridge pup a JB? Has a real Mustain tone. Dave started using JBs during the Peace Sells era. I think he used DiMarzios on the album. By So Far, So Good he was using the Jackson V full time with a JB bridge and Bill Lawrence neck. He's been using JBs ever since and Duncan now makes the Thrash Factor which is based on the JB in the Jackson he played for years. They also make the Mustain actives.

@@clanofhousecats8079 Can't go wrong with a JB. I use the Alternative 8 which is like a hot rodded JB, totally awesome pup. Also, the Nazgul, Custom, Distortion, Full Shred, etc. The reason the JB is so ubiquitous is that it manages to work very well in most guitars and with most amps. It's not like a DiMarzio which can be extremely hit and miss. It absorbs high gain like a sponge and makes it very crunchy, fat, has great sustain and incredible harmonics. It works well for most styles. In the 80s when I was playing in the Los Angeles shred metal scene it was THE most common pickup. It just worked and got The Sound. Most of the studio cats I knew were also using JBs whether they were playing metal, country, jazz, blues, you name it. It just works.

Would highly recommend a Japan soloist made before I think 2013 around the time they stopped making Japan guitars.

To me it feels smooth. It's been able to flutter too the way I have it set up. Has a bounce to it.
