Is it true that, after removing connector, the resistance between Pin 1 and Pin 2 should be between 3.6 - 4.4 kilo Ohms with car off and switch off. Mine is 1.3 kOhms, that means bad potentiometer?

It s aftermarket one. Not necessarily bad
