Bug Limit is the "No Major Glitches" equivalent for BotW runs. It's not quite glitchless because you're allowed to use certain tricks like whistle sprinting, fall damage cancelling, and infinite horse stamina. In response to the person who said they didn't think whistle sprinting was a glitch, I think you can say that holding down the whistle button in order to run faster is not an intended mechanic, and doesn't make sense in any way other than as an exploit of the specifics of movement code. The main thing I get annoyed about people calling a glitch is stasis launches, because things going flying after you hit them in stasis is absolutely an intended mechanic, so grabbing onto them or getting yourself hit by them is just exploiting that mechanic to gain speed. A "glitch" in this context is an exploitation of code, whereas an "exploit" is an exploitation of intentionally created mechanics.

@@Nat_the_Chicken yeah i agree that it’s clearly a glitch, but I tend to see it as a minimal glitch since it doesn’t vastly impact your normal abilities. I think that’s why the stasis launches are debated, because they just feel (and look) like a major glitch, but you’re right that it’s simply taking advantage of the built-in physics+mechanics.
Been watching speedruns since just finishing totk. Excited to see someone tackle a speedrun like this for totk. The current runs are real impressive, but curious how it'd be done without all the duping.
I thought this was a meme speedrun to collect all bug types- butterflies and dragonflies, etc. Then I read what the category was and it just feels like "no major glitches" with extra exceptions.
Great run, but there's one thing I thought about when you was talking with chat. Why are windbombs considered a glitch? The bombs are intended to work like that, or the bullet time bounce mechanic that multiplies the launch works also in this case, or I dunno. Anyway thanks for the run
You can't windbomb without bullet time. If you place the bombs at similar distances without bullet time, Link won't get launched in the same way so it's the same as BTBs.

Im guessing windblight skip is considered a glitch which is why u didn't do it, but if that's the case why is the ganon stunlock allowed? It seems p glitchy to me
The reasoning I've heard for stunlock being allowed is that they patched it in master mode but didn't change it in normal mode. This is also bug limit so it's more of a no major glitches run than a glitchless run which is why we get to use stuff like infinite horse stamina, fall damage cancels, whistle sprinting.

why are you playing in german instead of french? is there a reason or are they about the same?
Because you can't clip out at the start there's an extra cutscene that plays which is faster in German making the run overall faster in German.
