I'm two years late but "..." has not always meant suspense! It's a remnant of when people wrote letters, they also used ellipses to indicate just a normal pause in their thoughts. It kind of makes sense because using a comma as a pause isn't always appropriate but it is odd for us that grew up without really writing letters that often.

All the siblings' names are Scandinavian. Gus is short for Gustav, and there's Sven, and another brother named Thor. I, personally, prefer Gustopher. But that is not the case, and also probably an abomination.
Tk Bandele maybe they had only a few generations in America. I know families who are American but the person who had immigrated to America was a grandpa or great grandpa so the family is still very aligned and thoughtful of the culture despite being very American. Plus I think in his area that he is from they had a lot of roots with Scandinavian immigrants in the past but I’m not sure. There are pockets of America like that were people are very American but love in pockets that had a very present heritage like Italian or polish and they still are very aware and in tune with it/it being important to them to memorialize etc

People don't actually sit at home and review the place (normally at least) a lot of the time if you're signed into google maps on your phone right when you leave google will ask you what you thought of the place.
