He was emotionally/verbally/mentally abusive towards her and she spoke up about it a few days ago

The weird part of this episode isn't that Gus finally "laughed". The weird part was that Courtney was consistently pretty funny and she didn't get any points.
Courtney's face when Gus said "I love you guys" was such a genuine heartfelt reaction that it made me tear up a little, Gus is really a part of the Smosh family!

Damien is so cute and funny. I always laugh at his bits. Shayne and Gus are hilarious too.
Including Sven and Eddy was so brilliant. After Sven I was truly expecting Shayne was going to have Sven get Gus's other two siblings record things, but Eddy made way more sense. I also truly believe there's a Sabrina recording too in case the Eddy one didn't break him.

He's issued an apology, mentioning that he's since been through therapy and grown a lot, and is stepping away from his podcast/live shows for the remainder of the year.
How he acted wasn't okay, but I don't think he's a monster or even necessarily a bad person. He hurt someone by being cowardly and selfish in a dire time, but I think he should have the chance to show that he's matured since then.
