I know a lot of people think Damien is faking the whole inclusiveness thing, or that he's just playing it up to try to seem like a woke king or something, but the fact that it just came so naturally for him to calmly and kindly say "no, this is not something to make fun of" just proves what a naturally decent and thoughtful human being he is.
arasha did literal misdirection. that punchline was perfect cause you know she had something behind the umbrella. but shayne just being gone because damien was focused on her is definitely the real punchline in my eyes. yes they frame it so we couldnt really see shayne leave so it would be a surprise to us, and the crew could see it but its a perfect example of how close up magic and stage magic works in so many cases.
I was thinking the exact same thing. She played it flawlessly to Damien, and the crew shot it using the perfect angles. That was my favourite bit of the whole vid.

Like where the first bit sets up the character for the rest of round and everyone else builds upon the character that the first person created.
