That laughter of pure ridiculous joy upon hearing it work for the first time. There's no better feeling in the world than shenanigans paying off 1000%.
I have one of these horns, slightly modified, on my bike. Instead of going full power at once it winds up and down. So a quick tap gets a rumble, enough to alert people I'm near by while holding the button down gets it to ramp up to full power in the case of a "hey, fuck you buddy" moment
@@alexsainsbury2176 No mod. Just wired the horn to a battery and a push button. These klaxxon horns are run by a motor that needs to wind up to make sound. so a tap will give it enough to turn, but you need to hold the button down to get it to turn at full speed
Should have bought the flashlight combo and use the flashlight then you wouldn't have had to cut that with a hacksaw...wonderful job and thx U 4 doing g this
As a 41 year old kid who loves things that make annoying noises with tools and crap at work I am definitely making this lol
How’d it go ?

Rest in piece drill bit.😥 Awesome horn though!!
There is something about those rotary horns 😂
Awesome 👏 that’s cool bro! Genius!!! Oh the pranks I would pull off with that 🤣
After Midnight 😂😂
Sounds like a car horn off The Walton's.Goodnight Jim Bob.

How did you apply that modification?

Since it is DC can you use 18 volt ?
You can definitely use an 18v. It would be louder for sure, just more expensive.
nice did you install the relay ?
No relays, just wired the horn straight to the wire that ran the drill motor.
Damn you look like Sid Haig from the devils rejects!
That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! Thank you
@@TheRealChaseRhodes well I'm a huge fan of Rob Zombie and love Sid Haigs character in his movies so take it as a compliment rather than an insult
Hey open it back up and flip the button it gets louder
Do you mean the selector for drill direction? I'm in the process of making one and I'm trying to figure out which way to put that
I got the exact same drill and Horn as you did! How did you do the wiring and did you have to buy extra wires?
No extra wires, just a couple spade connectors.
@@TheRealChaseRhodes awesome thanks! I'm a haunt actor at ScreamTown in Minnesota 🎃
@@TheRealChaseRhodes is there a certain kind of spade connector that is best?
I just got a variety pack from Harbor Freight.
@@TheRealChaseRhodes awesome 😎 I'll look for them. I'm having trouble getting the screw in the middle of the drill off

I would have, but this way was cheaper...plus, I got to cut the drill up with a hacksaw. Who doesn't love a little intentional destruction.
