Now I want to know what it’d sound like if you were to actually make the drill’s native motor do the twisting action of the horn. The drill motor would slowly ramp into full speed compared to the motor it has for itself. That would be even goofier sounding 😂
I know this is an old video, but the first time I've seen it. That look on your face on the closing clip was priceless. Your cheeks were even a little red.... You looked like a kid that got caught by mom..
Hey man that deserves 6,000% props that was a great video very informational and at the end that was too damn funny I don’t laugh very much but boy did that make me laugh hard
These older or just outmoded cordless drills are perfect for hot rodding younger nephews and neices remote controlled vehicles. 20,000rpm brushless lithium motors make a barbie car fucking rip like hell. And you'll have spare battery to add lights or ground effect or if you are me, a windshield washer pump and a spy gadet like spray implement. Because being a cool uncle is a title that must be re-earned every 24hours. And That barbie car does like 50mph...well used ta, done spun and wrecked on my truck tire on the driveway. Now I need a better hell raising concept to annoy my sister and teach electrical theory to my niece. Perhaps a used Fuel pump cordless squirt gun? 100psi through a 1/8"dia hardline should have sufficient increase in pressure to maybe cut a kid in half at 500 yards. ....second thoughts... Maybe I could jist re-use the washer pump and remote controls from Barbie, paint the squirt gun pink, then issue eye protection and maybe a danger close alarm.... Hmmmm.
Now, this is funny. I wish I had an old spare cordless drill. If I did I might follow your directions on this. As it is, I am going to follow your directions on that easy install of a plug to an extension cord. The one that lights up one plugged in. I appreciate that particular video. By the way my name is Michael and I live in Las Vegas Nevada and everything you post I am following as a subscriber and given a thumbs up of course. Oftentimes commenting. My understanding is that commenting helps to get your videos to more people. Thank you for the entertainment and the education.
I was thinking that it was a jigsaw like before we had electric jigsaws in that it is a saw that you would use to cut out a shape on a jig, no? (Actually comparing ideas Because that is legitimately what I was taught and if it's wrong I would like to know, And it is entirely possible that I was taught wrong, But we are not going to get into that here, lol I am not being argumentative...I have to say this now because... Not that I think anybody who even knows the words "coping saw" is going to be soft enough to take offense to a question I just want to make sure nobody gets offended ON YOUR BEHALF because... The internet😂 this way at least anybody that I offended I did so directly but That's a whole different thing... I just can't stand misunderstandings😂)
For a guy that works with noisy machinery and aspires to be a proctologist with those rubber gloves, why make something that makes the same noise as the missus 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is there a way to set this horn up to run from a power supply that connects to mains power? So that I can avoid the need for a battery pack? And have it constantly powered?
Not sure why in gods name you'd do that but You could actually get a really cheap tattoo machine power supply off the internet for like $5 and then you could actually use the control knob to turn the power level up and down, It would also include a foot pedal switch. I mean a very cheap one but included nonetheless. If you go up to like 15 to $20 you can get a digital power supply for a rotary tattoo machine which has the "speed control switch" built into the foot pedal kind of like a sewing machine, and if I remember correctly some of them even have a lock so you can set a speed and lock it in the on position. What's even better is with either of the tattoo machine power supplies you can actually use the wire that's meant to go to the tattoo machine itself and just put a set of blade connectors onto the leads on the spring clip connector. (After you remove the spring clips obviously). Or even better you could just put a pair of studs for the spring clip connector onto the horn motor and that way you would still be able to go back to using it for the tattoo machine if you wanted to, 😂 lol AND In addition to The power supply and cord still being usable with the tattoo machine, the studs on the horn motor would still be able to have any other power supply wire threaded through them or attached using a different spring clip thus leaving everything involved completely , readily and freely interchangeable with other components.
Good god man dont be that cruel to that poor drill using a screwdriver to take it apart is like insulting the poor thing atleast use a milwaukee drill, atleast itll feel defeated by something better not worse like a old rusty screwdriver.
"I don't want to annoy the neighbours with my air compressor, while building my air horn pistol"
"It's not funny!"

That's a coping saw. Primarily used for crown molding.

Any generic 12-18V DC 10A power supply. About $20 US.
