  • Short story about 2 great climbs I've done on PZA (Polish Mountaineering Association) Youth Winter Climbing Meeting in Morskie Oko, Tatra.
We've been climbing on our most iconic wall - Kazalnica - where polish mountaineeres were hardened before great climbs in other mountains around the world. Kazalnica is 500 m cliff with tons of hard climbing.
First we've done Długosz route (M7 A1) in enchainment with part of Mięguszowiecki Ridge. We've been planning to climb Swierz route on Mięgusz East face after bivy, but snow conditions were terrible. Ridge climbing was in "Patagonia" style, but it was an outstanding experience.
Second part is about an unfinished attempt of Chrobak-Heinrich (M7 VIII-). Michał free climbed all hard pitches and had accident in easy terrain above. He was taken by TOPR mountain rescue service in difficult heli action.
