I love John Anderson; I don't think there's a finer man on the planet. Sincere, thoughtful, deeply intelligent, gracious, caring. Every interview he does is worth watching; he allows his guests to speak; when he challenges a guest it is intellectually and not mean-spirited 'gotcha' kind of nonsense. I admire him tremendously.

@@JohnAndersonConversations Hi, Kristian. I'm American ; I live in Florida. I've been watching John's 'conversations' for probably two - three years. I even watch when I don't know who the guest is because in his conversations, John brings out important information whether for Australians or for the world at large. He allows his guests the time to answer questions fully, he never bullies or over-rides his guests but listens - imagine that! he listens - and tries to balance what the guest has to say with what is going on in the world and as he himself sees things. It is exactly what a conversation should be - an exchange of ideas. I have never seen him unprepared and whatever may be going on in the production side of the conversations, he never seems rushed but ready to give his guest the fullness of his attention. Especially today, it's uplifting to see a host treat his guests so well, whether they agree in principle or not. I just think he's the best there is.

Dear Mr Anderson and Mr Murray, I have watched Mr Murray discuss a myriad of topics and it always has been an enlightening experience, but in watching Mr Murray talk openly with Mr Anderson, one has the impression that both of you bring out the best in each other. It just comes across as the most honest and down-to-earth dialogue with no one coming off as trying to be better than the other, but genuinely interested in what the other has to say. Mr Murray is a beacon of wisdom and understanding about the current culture war. All delivered in a calm, articulate, supremely knowleadgeable way. A true intellectual giant and a pleasure to listen to. Not all Oxford humanist education is wasted, after all!
A note to Mr Anderson: Finding this channel was a real surprise for me, you were one of the better ministers in the John Howard government. Your evolution from the political cesspits of the early 2000s to the values and ideas expoused in this channel is a pleasant surprise which, I must say, was an unexpected find in an ex politician.
Many of the problems discussed in this video have been visible for years. Some questions beg asking (to which I don't expect an answer): were you aware of the gallopping cancer of cultural Marxism while you were in government? Why didn't the Howard "conservatives" do something then? For example, a funding inquiry into the ABC?

It's a relief to see other intellectuals (such as Mr. Murray) speaking sensibly about the mandatory craziness which has swept Western culture in the new century. "Wokeness" is a retrograde religion which has poisoned every sector of life it's touched. And Mr. Murray is 100% correct to identify the fact "wokeness" has exactly the same totalitarian flavor manifested by religious zealotry in eras past. Hopefully more and more grown-ups are willing to show some spine and endure the mobs. We have to show our children a better path.

Wonderful interview. Douglass Murray has challenged the way I think profoundly. His work and Tom Holland’s book Dominion have made me re-evaluate my opinion of Christianity and its influence on my culture. I had to be challenged by men who do not claim to hold religious belief to appreciate it for the way I think. John is great at getting to the heart of the ideas. Thank you
