I knew Mark was AWESOME. But Joey Kibble is a vocal BEAST. Kibble brothers are sick with talent

They were the best, now they are one of the best : you have seven black men that took it to another step, see if you can find them.

Take 6 is still going STRONG!! Still the best.. Those 7 guys you're referring to are good, but NOTHING like Take 6

Sir with all due respect they still are and always will be, why?
Naturally 7 make great songs but not great albums in the sense off being able to listen to one of their albums without skipping tracks. Not to say they can't do a great album i just believe they live off the 'vocal play' facet of their music opposed to the songs, harmonies & arrangements
Secondly they don't have a Mark Kibble in their group to do their arrangements. I feel if Mark arranged a few songs for Naturally 7 you would hear a significant change while keeping their group identity.
Finally Take 6 & Quincy Jones invented 'Vocal Play' in 88/89 with the song 'we be doin it' from the Back on the block album. So the point I'm trying to make is Naturally 7 have their sound & style but its been derived from Take 6. Also Take 6 could do 'Vocal Play' if they chose too.
No disrespect intended to Naturally 7 I've seen them & Take 6 live several times.

there is an interview between both groups wherre Take themselves say they took it to the next level. their albums may not be as good because of the lack of the best direction but the raw quality is there ie Naturally 7 perform "Simon and Garfunkel"

hello am a huge fun of both Groups. First of am proud of both groups Cause they are from my community of Faith ( the Seventh Day Adventists) and It amazing to see the Gospel of a Risen and Soon coming savior being taken to the places it needs to go using the medium of music. Vocal Play is not a New phenomenon. I love u from the so much to say album by take 6 the song is full of imitating instruments what i s now referred to as Vocal Play. I would say perhaps they were the first to use the the term vocal play. They have taken it to the next level indeed and its very true and what they do is really amazing vocally. Secondly Naturally 7 are not a entirely or purely a vocal jazz group. They use Jazz chords quiet frequently. Even Take 6 i wouldn't say they purely do jazz. They add elements of pop Rn b and Gospel. Naturally seven add elements of even Hip hop to what they do and their sound is more urban. Depends what youre into , if you are into the more abstract, complicated, intricate harmonies, then Like me your preference will bend more towards take 6 than Naturally 7. If you are more in the funky, rhythmic , urban, more current hip hop stuff then you may bend more towards naturally 7. My point in all of this is that is that there is no way o even beginning to compare the two groups. They have different approaches. I used to want to compare the two sometime back but I stopped because i came to realise both groups are very different. I have come to love both of the groups and appreciate what they each bring to the table.

Ummmm...... sure...... you might want to re-check the very first song yourself........This is called "You can make it- Go ON!!!" not "Come On".......not sure how you missed that.....they put the title on there when david started singing.

LOL......... Not a big deal....just pointing it out....its all good my friend!!!!!! Nothing to be ashamed about..... when they're saying "go on".... it kinda sounds like "come on"
      Cheers back!!!!

elrasa3 Actually Go-On and Come On are two different songs on the album. Come on is the first song on this album, Go On (the song they performed) is actually the last song on the Feel's Good album. They didn't do Come On.. (That's the song that goes "Come on everybody! We're just getting started! Rocking the party! Cuz we got the victory)

Rodney Davis I know that they are two different songs...my first comment response was to Matej Virtic who tried to correct me saying that they did sing "come on" in this concert... i was explaining to him that when he heard "go on" he might have mistaken it for "come on".......(as he stated above... he deleted that comment) and i already pointed out that they didnt do "come on"... and being my favorite from the album.... i already know the words too!!! LOL... but thanks
