Aside from the fact you were on the wrong side of the road (LOL) i really liked the models and the Tiger tank and the tank destroyer were a hoot. Great trip and video, Jersey Bill
I remember being taken to the Margate Summer Show in the 60s by my Mum and Dad. It starred Jimmy Tarbuck and one support act was Ronnie Hilton, who had a big hit at the time with 'I Saw a Mouse, Where? There on the Stair' (not the title but you get the gist!). A bonus was that Sean Connery was in the audience - be still my 10 year old heart!
I guess you mean in the museum, it could very well be, we know its in there and the wheels were white/silver, didn't cross my mind at the time - thanks for pointing that out.
It is so hard to talk on camera while watching the frame sound levels etc, I am on my own so bound to get the words wrong (more often than not!), my apologies, of course its not a Robin! Its a shame you were gone, many many amazing models with people putting in hundreds of modelling hours.
Thanks for the kind remarks you made about our cardboard locomotives
A great idea and wonderfully executed, thank you for displaying them!

@@dustyshelfcollectables LMAO
Dusty thanks for video great things.
I am looking forward to the train museum when it finally opens, have you been to the Hornby visitor centre?
I was there 😊 10 minute drive from home. I really hope Hornby take on the lost models shows like Euromilitaire and Trucks'n'Tracks.
You are fortunate to have the visitor centre so close to you, a 2 hour drive for me. Anyway many thanks for watching and taking the time to message.
Dose look a great event and some fantastic models
It was so much better thank I expected and superb models and a lovely bunch of people exhibiting.

Margate - so many memories for so many! I get the same feeling driving in as I do in Blackpool, Clacton or Southend, I have fond memories in all!
Hope you don’t mind but the reliant inside wonder works isn’t a robin, it’s a reliant regal van. I had both in my younger days.
Great video though.
Were they as dangerous in crosswinds as the story goes?
Not at all, a slip of the tong and you are not the only one to mention it! I 'never been in one, but I can imagine quite fun!
I should think cross wind, corners and stopping would all be fun!
That looked a great event 👍 some amazing models 👏
Much better than I expected, fantastic models and a lovely group of people exhibiting.
All 'amazing' (an overused word. But not in this case) but the 'Paper' models stood out for me. Something I never knew about. How amazing where they?
I loved the paper models, really superb idea and very well executed, a highlight for sure!
Have you ever been to the 2 museums nearby at Manston? I would recommend doing a video at those!
Funnily they on my agenda that day but ran short of time, look good though so defiantly next time! Thanks for the heads up.
The coach looked like the Beaver-tail LNER coach.
