Whenever I see a different production of any musical, I want to see that flair that makes the cast OWN the stage. And this is one of those productions which just owned it. Congratulations!
Some notes:
1. Vanessa & Usnavi and Nina & Benny are so cute together! (Great chemistry!)
2. Piragüero is the best character ever: Piragua and Blackout
3. The Benny KILLED IT in “Benny’s Dispatch”. I love his flow!
4. Abuela Claudia’s “Paciencia y Fe” is the most wholesome thing I have seen. [Please fix her mic]
5. Daniela and Carla’s dynamic duo is great.
The actor who plays Sonny is quite cute if I must say.

The hug between Sonny and Usnavi at the end of Alaabanza made me sob. I've never seen it in any other production and it was just so unexpected, it added so much to the scene

I love when any production does this small thing with Sonny’s character. I’ve only seen a few have them hug in Alabanza and this is the only production that I’ve seen them hug in the finale as well. Is the small things in every production I look for like actually been able to hear him in Blackout (I swear a lot of people wouldn’t know he also sings the “I can’t find Usnavi” line unless they hear him and is almost never because he gets overshadowed by Vanessa) or the little jump in the end on 96,000 like in the original production. (I’ve also seen a few productions have Sonny follow Usnavi and Nina into the apartment when Abuela dies and is a small thing but just- yes)

When I realized it wasn't the original Broadway cast, I almost stopped watching. Usnavi had a nice flow so I watched. I stayed watching after hearing the harmonies of the opening song, which sounded professional. Nothing but praise for the entire cast. Phenomenal job!!!

I AM SO JEALOUS. Other than the original cast, this is my favorite version. I just love everything about this. Also, the chemistry between all the actors is amazing and I can clearly tell how much time and effort they all, plus everyone behind the scenes, put into this and all your shows.
Can we TALK about these two girls who dance together, the blonde one with the glasses and the brunette with the straight hair? They are IMPRESSIVE.

I stumbled upon this after years of listening to the original casts' soundtrack and I'm absolutely blown away. Usnavi had such confidence and fluidity. The Benny was the smooth and charming character we knew from the original. Nina's actress was spectacular. Pairing her voice with Christopher Jackson's would arguably be even better than the original songs in terms of singing talent. Vanessa was sassy and powerful, Daniela and Carla adding laughter along the way. Piraguero was played almost to perfection. Everything (besides the rare mic trouble) made this by far and away the best production I've seen excluding the original. Thanks for posting this and letting us enjoy!
Why did I not see this version before. It's so great! The talent of these people, just Wow. Kudos to you all.
Now everyone has already talked about Usnavi, Vanessa, Nina and Benny and they are great, but for me the girl who played Daniela sold the play. The way she put felling into every word was pure talent.
The whole cast was filled with talent and I don't have the words to express myself at the moment. But keep up the good work and thank you for sharing this with us.
The only proper way to test if the cast is good is to see how good the Piragua song is

This is incredible! it does my heart good to see these beautiful young Latino people in a show about THEM and SLAYING it! Also the kids in the audience identifying with the characters on stage! I saw this on Broadway and cried through the entire show! LMM is awesome! These young people are so talented!

I love the passion and the harmonies this cast aces its amazing. As a fellow thespian I am thankful to have stumbled upon this amazing performance from the whole cast. So much character and talent in 2 hours it's insane!

I keep coming back to this performance. It’s been months since I first watched it but it feels like a big hug. Every single person involved in this production is obviously extremely talented, and the camerawork on the recording is so pleasing. This is THE BEST In the Heights on youtube (yes even above the obc recording.) Thank you all so much for such a good performance and for putting it for free on youtube haha

This is such a beautiful rendition of this musical. As a Caribbean person who's also spent a lot of time in New York, this made me proud. I am so grateful that this musical helps to tell our stories to the world. The cast was superb and the attention to the details and intricacies of our culture was priceless. Thank you!!!

The two playing Nina and Benny seriously had great chemistry. And Nina's voice was outstanding. Also I just want to shoutout Usnavi and Sonny, those two were so great, especially when it came to the rap-singing. Wow I just really loved this production!
This is the In the Heights for me. Even when I see snippets of the original Broadway Cast, these kids are the ones in my mind and heart.

How has no one mentioned it but your Sonny killed it!!! The whole cast was incredible and this is second to the movie from me and might even be above the Broadway Cast. Overall, amazing and I'll be waiting to see Nina in a Broadway play.

this is definitely the best thing I've found in 2021. I've seen this Cast A around 10+ times already, not to mention the original one, the Movie and a few other casts. Still couldn't find a better one, this one literally gives me goosebumps on some scenes (Like the Fireworks on Blackout, or Sonny hugging Usnavi in the end)
