Simply incredible. This should be required listening, and maybe required playing, for anyone who plays jazz piano.

Wow Peter. You must have just had a heaping serving of Naw'lins red beans and rice from Mandina's before you did this taping! Great.

4 a minute I thought he was reaching back for a quart of Pabst Blue Ribbon during Giant Steps. Thanks Pete for bringing back Solo Jazz Piano.

Such rich tonality. You're relaxed yet still intense. This is a master class, Peter. I can listen and learn all day.

Holy cow, Peter, you killed me with some of the harmonies and runs in "Blame it on My Youth." A gorgeous ballad, too: check out Chet Bakers version, vocal and trumpet.

why not upload some, if not all of the recordings to spotify/apple music? nothing is more jazz than albums being live performances. there were so many good performances at open studio already, i wonder why this never happened

Came to the party late due to Australian time difference. But a nice Saturday morning breakfast concert, as per usual.

I mean in the jazz idiom. There are a half dozen mind-blowing classical pianists, e'g', Yuja.
