@@SpensPainting the light it's self is REALLY good for seeing colours as they are meant to appear, especially reds, so it's helped me keep my transitions looking smooth and natural for sure, plus the double light arms allow me to almost entirely eliminate shadows while I'm working, or cast them as I need them to figure out my shades and highlights, it also works wonders for plotting out OSL
What about Blue light. So, if the color temperature "maximum yellow", does it mean there would be No blue light emitted? (I'm just trying to figure out if this lamp is good for reading eBook)
Nice review. I like many of the features it boasts, but £199 is not a viable option for my budget. Much like the Redgrass Games lamp, I’m sure you get what you pay for, but it’s a lot to pay.
@@CrimsonTemplar2 agreed! The features are very nice, and the light quality is really good, but £200 is a lot of money for anyone. Ikea tertial are budget options at the best imo
I really like the aesthetic of this lamp but there is almost no reason to splurge on brand name products when competitors like the Micomlan desk lamp have the same (and more) features for 4 times cheaper... yes you read that right And if you absolutely need the highest CRI for super cheap waveform lighting makes all sorts of 95+ stuff including bulbs that will fit in regular lamps
@@CatharsisChaser it is a very premium priced lamp for sure! I think the build quality and light quality along with the features do make it worth it, but only if you can afford it and there are cheaper options
Loving the HELL out if my Redgrass R9 honestly
That’s great to hear! What do you like/dislike about it?
