- In this video tutorial, I've shown you How to Change MAC Address in Devices running on Windows 10, whether it is Laptop or Desktop, this method works with all devices having Windows OS. You can do this to bypass MAC Address Filters, Time Limits, Security, or just for Ethical Hacking. You can Easily Spoof your Windows MAC Address. So, no need to purchase or use any software. Simply use the Windows inbuilt Tools.
MAC stands for Media Access Control and MAC addresses are used to uniquely identify a device on a network. Each device on a network is assigned a dynamic IP that is mapped to the corresponding MAC address of the device with the help of ARP protocol and thus allowing devices in the network to communicate with any device in the network they wish.

Okay so the internet connection I use has a parental control on my laptop. At midnight, the ASUS router is supposed to block it from using the internet. However, after doing this step by step, I am currently connected just fine even though it's a good 30 minutes past the time it's supposed to be blocked! there's another computer in the house that's also got the control, and so to check if it wasn't simply lifted from me, I went and saw that it's blocked from the internet but I'm not!

Thank you. The video is really detailed. However, I have a question and maybe you can help. In my case, my wifi is provided by a USB wifi adapter. Unlike your video I don't get a NetconfigInstanceID match in the first 5 entries. I have to go as far as entry 0024 to find a match. I tried creating the new string there and then disabled and re-enabled the adapter, but it doesn't seem to have changed the MAC address. Do you have any suggestions? Could it be because it is an external USB wifi adapter?

@@tumwesigyemartin Indirectly yes. It seems most WiFi adapters can't have their MAC address changed to start with zero. However, I was able to change the MAC address of the wired ethernet adapter to an address that begins with zero. I used a free app to do this instead of changing registry values manually. The app worked for the wired adapter but not for the WiFi one. The app is Technitium MAC Address Changer

shadwwmike I think you just have to go to command prompt and type getmac
It worked... When in cmd make sure to see if the values on the left side changed not the ones on the right.

Hey I had a question so my pc has duel band wify which is what I use and a Ethernet which I don’t use so if u go to Control panel Network sharing centre you will see both wify and Ethernet if u go to wify then Properties then configure then Go to advanced I don’t see a wify address tab but if you go to. Ethernet properties then Configure you see it so I think it’s changing my Ethernet mac is not changing for me on wify how do I do it

I find a way to get these numbers , you have to follow this path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards
