Motonewbrider I just heard you guys have a meet this Saturday coming in towcester?? I would have popped down but have a dyna and live nearly 400 miles away which would take about 6 hrs on my bike.. hope you have a good day and also take some footage...
did the same mod on my wideglide. only I cut the bottom of the fender and rolled it into the frame . my passenger seat mount is now my solo seat mount and no expensive paint repair. plus factory finished edge
Yes, I think it looks great. I have one. I’m curious to know how much it would cost to do that and how much would it ruin the bike value as well? I most definitely it’s not for two people. It’s for one person. It’s Intown fun bike.
As someone who is a trained bodyworker I think this lad, while coming across a bit carless, is actually really good at what he does. He uses good technique.
I bought a k model several years ago that some one had cut the back finder off and every time it would rain it would sling water right up my back... you can have my part of cut offs.
Jeffrey Salgado mate the pipes are being made on Jan 12th so part 3 will be up on Sunday 15th January 7 pm ( uk time ) - I've got my next vlog up this Sunday which is Battle Of The Kings 2017 where I show the final build of the sportster for Shaw Speed and Custom - mental bike !! Thanks for the support Mate
Nice video mark, bike looks nice n clipped now, those strut covers, are they a Harley part? how does doing this mod affect resale if indeed your intending to sell on?
Hi Kev, overall I believe when you start customising if you look to sell the person buying needs to have the same taste as you, so that narrows your market so it's risky. Interms of value all money you put in post stock I believe you will lose 80% of it. The market is full of sports that are super competitive in terms of cost. I will keep this sporty now as i plan to mod the hell out of it. The strut covers are called cult works I believe, I made a spelling mistake in the vlog - LOL. Take care Kev
Fantastic!!! Love the individual look! I noticed you've gone for a side mounted plate?? Where from?? Who's?? Been looking for the right one and I think you have it! Can't wait to see the new pipe(s) Mark. Don't be too long next time ;-) Regards Adam
Rk honestly mate it's fine - you just need to plan certain journeys.... when I first had the 48 I was slightly anxious because of the fuel situation but now I don't even think about it.
The shorter finder made a big difference my friend. Bad ass ride.
Mohammed Barlow thanks fella
Top marks too the tech for letting you film him as he worked his magic...
he's a star mate - lots more to come from Russ as well, he does all the fabrication for the main dealerships. Very well known and a great guy.
Bike is looking very personal now....congrats. If I was you I would be well pleased with the outcome.
Good post...thanks, and keep them coming.
Hey George, cheers buddy... Super happy... Wait till you see my next vlog, best one yet mate. Out by Friday I reckon.
Motonewbrider look forward to it..be safe

Awesome job guys, i loved the new short fender
Great video on the process for anyone wanting to DIY
did the same mod on my wideglide. only I cut the bottom of the fender and rolled it into the frame . my passenger seat mount is now my solo seat mount and no expensive paint repair. plus factory finished edge

Thanks! Next one out end of this week, thanks for watching.
If you cut the frame , than is any possibility to put a second passenger sit?
NOPE

Really cool vlog mark!
More to come mate
What would you do if you want to pick up some lone as a passenger?
As someone who is a trained bodyworker I think this lad, while coming across a bit carless, is actually really good at what he does. He uses good technique.
Great and interesting video while he works on transforming your bike!
Thanks fella hope alls well in the US.
At 4:07 you mounted klock werks strut covers, where I can buy it for my 2013's sportster iron? I really need them! Thanks!
Gabrifol I think he means cult werx
What kind of spacers did you need when you swapped them out with chain sprocket?
Really like the builder, seems like he really has done this before Hey Boss! Sorry ya cant hear the accent.
How come everyone cuts the struts off the end of the frame ?
thank you
Looks great, math at guy can fab!
Russ is awesome very good at his craft

This is like getting a tattoo and the tattoo artist says, halfway through, “Are you sure you want to do this?”
I can't find the klock werks strut covers anywhere online, can you please point me in. the right direction?

who makes those strut covers? I know it states klock werks but they said they don't make them.
Great looking custom mate, what other changes do you think you'll make?

Love it! Love it! Makes me want a 48 and customize it!!!

Adam Lewis It's from
Shaw Speed & Custom
Great job!!! 👌
Cheers !!
Beautiful bike! Love the Confederate flag in the background! Beautiful!
Fleshlight pipes. Nice
If Harley diversifies its riders, should they also do it to the dealerships?
Looking good mate, I really want do mine but MRS has said no!😂 where am I goin sit she keeps saying lol good for u mate,
That's a tough one, perhaps a second bike LOL
How to setup camera on your helmet?
What do you do about the tank capacity on long rides??
Rk honestly mate it's fine - you just need to plan certain journeys.... when I first had the 48 I was slightly anxious because of the fuel situation but now I don't even think about it.
Just plan getting fuel ever 130 miles or so. Atleast what I do with my 883
How is it in wet weather now?
try not to ride in wet weather. I can imagine my back will get wet
But it looks way good then before great job!
U think 48 i capable for daily commute?
Very interesting.
what brand is your exhaust?
craik Vance & Hines
If someone could make a replacement for the struts [to be able to ride 2 up] they would make a fortune !
So sick and easy
Good job
Sir, I want to work with them
amazing view :)
different eh :)
I liked it better stock
Sweet Bikes
SUPER TOP !!!
I want too learn how to custom Harley I nam from India
I'd go ape shit if I had seen my bike there next to that grinding with no cover over it.
No more two up riding and muddy water all over your back in the rain not to mention butchering a perfectly good bike.
너무 야맨데 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
You cut your fender....you suffer the one behind you, splashing mud on their face....nasty and unethical issue...shame on you
Whyyyyyyy ???? :-( i know this is your choice Mark, but im sorry i don't like. Original was nice. :-/
thats cool not to like it buddy - thats the purpose of custom its to suit you not everyone else - hope alls well.
