    did the same mod on my wideglide. only I cut the bottom of the fender and rolled it into the frame . my passenger seat mount is now my solo seat mount and no expensive paint repair. plus factory finished edge

    If you cut the frame , than is any possibility to put a second passenger sit?

  • @jeffmccool2386
    @jeffmccool2386 Год назад

    Yes, I think it looks great. I have one. I’m curious to know how much it would cost to do that and how much would it ruin the bike value as well? I most definitely it’s not for two people. It’s for one person. It’s Intown fun bike.

    Nice video mark, bike looks nice n clipped now, those strut covers, are they a Harley part? how does doing this mod affect resale if indeed your intending to sell on?

    • @Motonewbrider
      @Motonewbrider  8 лет назад

      Hi Kev, overall I believe when you start customising if you look to sell the person buying needs to have the same taste as you, so that narrows your market so it's risky. Interms of value all money you put in post stock I believe you will lose 80% of it. The market is full of sports that are super competitive in terms of cost. I will keep this sporty now as i plan to mod the hell out of it.
      The strut covers are called cult works I believe, I made a spelling mistake in the vlog - LOL.
      Take care Kev

  • @Seoulshakers

      Rk honestly mate it's fine - you just need to plan certain journeys.... when I first had the 48 I was slightly anxious because of the fuel situation but now I don't even think about it.
