Very nice review. I'm 72 years old and I've decided the NX500 is the bike I want. I live in Winona, Minnesota, US with access to very nice country lanes and easy access to I-90 for distance traveling. I've called Honda Powersports USA to find out when the NX is coming to the US. Honda Powersports did not know if the NX500 is coming to the US in 2024. We seem to have a very strange Honda motorcycle distribution system in the USA today. When I was seventeen years old, living in Winona, I bought a new Honda Trail 90 (yellow) for $375.00 at a local Honda dealer in Winona. The Trail 90 had a dual-speed transmission. I see no reason for myself to ever need to go above 130 kph and this review sold me on how the NX handles freeways. Thanks 🦆

The design is slightly changed. Overall looks cool, but that is all apart from some details. A great A2 bike in my opinion. Cheers.

From what you're saying, it doesn't look like the wind protection at highway speed is much better. I had hoped that the taller fairing would help with unclean air around the ears... I'd be curious how the headlight "see" in the dark, if it's better. Looks like a nice update but, nothing major from my point of view. I would have hoped they would better prepare it for a skid plate, as they this for the new Transalp, as that is much needed for this model as well. Nice review! Thank you!
Thanks very much for watching. Yes, the specs say much improved ... but do you really feel all these specs on the new bike? Well, I didn't, I felt right at home as on my old CB500X. Yes, I would say the windscreen did not improve. In addition I think you cannot even move it up one notch anymore, and pretty noisy, because of the turbulences. Anyways, as I said, a new model year and some changes, but not life-changing :)

Lesser hp/torque but new ecu setting to improve low end acceleration
I'm thinking of selling my duke 390 and buy this one. I'm 192 cm tall and I think this would have much better comfortable riding position than this far taller rider. For me most important things are comfort and practicality. What's you thoughts?
Hello, unfortunately I don't know enough about the KTM Duke 390, but with your size I would say the NX500 would be a good fit.
In Serbia the price is 7950€, is it to much for a 500cc, plus will need 1500-2000€ for accessories...to much, better to buy a 650cc or a Chinese 500cc as Voge, Kove or the new cfmoto 450MT..thanx for the review ✌️❤
