Before the video started I was like “better be a 1921!”

All im sayin is it's facts that holding the torch at a certain distance helps. To close it will cause the flame to blowback and takes more time. To far away then it wont hold heat, find the right distance and you'll have less blowback and you'll get more heat on what your torching.

I'll probably go ahead and make a video about this as far as how far you should hold the torch for maximum heat, which is at the tip of the inner cone.

*Wish you do more videos like this. l'm interested to see how much silver you will get from old coins that are not scarce or are damaged.*

I'm going to be posting a follow-up video to this, and showing it's after melt silver content on a metal tester. I haven't quite got to editing it yet but I should have it ready no later than next weekend. Is there anything specific you'd like to see? Maybe I'll try to put something out based off your ideas... 👍 Thanks for watching, and your feedback is very appreciated!

@@JoshuaAndersonLife I've seen some other creators separating the silver content from coins with chemicals and to have the purest form of silver but also I like these kind of melting silver coins, especially if you add some other denominations from that period (obviously, coins that are in a very very bad shape & don't have a numismatic value).

@@NandiCollector I did do a video on refining sterling silver, and the process is the same whether or not you use sterling silver or 90% constitutional silver. Did you happen to see that one? However, I haven't looked into any other methods as of yet for refining silver. I will definitely look into doing another video melting down some other melt value coins. Thank you! 👍

@@JoshuaAndersonLife I definitely will watch that video and, yes, silver refining was the word I was looking for but didn't remember. Lol. I just love to see silver coins melted, especially when they are from different denominations.

I don’t care if it’s only a 1921 but it’s so iconic and so much more than $20 worth of metal, that’s been restricted and fractionally seesawed to a chosen few profit thieves.
