Poles have gone through many nightmares in their history, that's why they are so helpful and nice to foreigners. There is a saying that Poles are the best friends and the worst enemies if you give them your heart they will give you twice as much this is typically Polish behavior the same thing happens when you bully or disrespect them then you're in trouble ;D
