All of żabka employees are kinda miserable in their day to day job, but you managed to bring a smile on that woman face that day, the same with nearly everyone you meet, most poles aren't used to such directness, warmth and positive outlook and energy like you bring Andre, keep it up bro, you're a vlogger worth watching.
Where does this opinion about Poles come from?
If you don't like working in Zabka, you can find a nice job in Biedronka or McDonald's and you will be cheerful from morning to night. Just like in merry Western Europe...

It's very nice to see foreigner just walk around our villages, talk with locals and just have fun there. It's pretty rare these times to see someone like you visit places where other people wouldn't go but instead they would go to much bigger cities and wouldn't learn a single Polish word there. I'm really glad you visited us, showed typical Polish village and chatted with locals.
Could still add, even after last couple of months, that the content coming out from this channel, since more than half-a-year ago, could be watched by audience of André who's capturing video in rural areas, mostly in two EU member states. Sure a very good production! Got very impressed! As videos' soundtracks in some shootings have contained certain jokes of a mindset, closely connected to animal farms and their living beings--particularly hens and chickens. Jolly good stuff to see w/ English captions esp. for those city dwellers, viewing, who might have become disconnected from themes about the nature (i.e. should earlier on, on-going Coronavirus pandemia related restrictions have had wide effect on people and this content somehow could serve to heal the limitations of natural thoughts in the mind).

Chodzenie do Żabki to nie jest Polskie. Chodzenie do żabki to jest jak dawanie dupy ruskim. Tylko że w przypadku Żabki nie ruskim. Ale nie jest to Polskie bo Żabka nie jest Polską siecią. Rozszerza swoją ekspansję, Polacy jak durnie walą do tych żabek z produktami zamawianymi całymi kontenerami z tanich fabryk z kierunku wschód i Bułgaria, Węgry, Rumunia itp. A polskie spożywczaki uoadają, gdzie nie rzadko tki pojedynczy właściciel spożywczaka, Polak dbał o dobre źródło warzyw, wędlin, mięsa, owoców żeby przyciągnąć do siebie klienta i przyzwyczaić by był stałym klientem. Hi. New subscriber here. I admire your sense of adventure, inclusivity, inquisitiveness, and cosmopolitan attitude. I'm the same way. But my anxiety/AVPD has stopped me from travelling to other places. So, for now, I'll just see the world through your camera. Fear can be a gift, in some cases. But it's also a poison. Hell, I don't even travel my own backyard, lol. I pretty much just go to work then go home. Introspection can be good but if one goes overboard with it, it gets more difficult to get out. Fear has stopped me from travelling, seizing certain opportunities... and just overall living, really.
It's regretful and feels wasteful, as I feel that I'm languishing away, not experiencing the world & other cultures out there. Although I actually did spend a chunk of my childhood living overseas for a bit (I was a U.S. military brat). And I grew up watching shows like Anthony Bourdain's (RIP) No Reservations, Bizarre Foods w/ Andrew Zimmern. But I digress. I feel that being a "Third Culture" person myself has shaped me into being more culturally aware and sensitive. And molded me into who I am today. This is something that I'm thankful for and wouldn't trade for. On top of being a third culture person, my parents are also immigrants to the U.S. (I'm first gen American).
My parents & I settled in one state upon returning stateside, where I lived in now for 21 years. The PNW (Where I reside) is magical/scenic, and I love it, but I've had this long yearning to wander. A nod to what Mark Twain once said: “Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”
Bottom line, I've learned that I'll just have to be fearless and rip the band-aid off soon and get out there. Well, money too is another issue for me. Can't go far without money. That's just another truth. But I'm working on it. I came here from one of your previous Poland travel videos. In the video, where you got approached by some strangers whilst you were having a meal & they struck a conversation with you... This showed me that there's still a few good-natured people left in this world. Anyways, thanks for what you do, bruv. Keep it up. Stay safe in your travels.
I also suffer from AVPD. What do you do for a living? I currently am looking for a job which is very hard
Hi. I'm a government worker. I'm currently a DoD (Department of Defense) employee. I don't know where you're from. But just in case, for a little clarity & context, the DoD is part of the U.S. federal government. Aside from my day job, I have a couple of side hustles lined up too but currently, they're unfortunately not picking up as good as I'd like. But I'm working on it. I dream of one day becoming financially stable & self-employed.
And yeah, as a lifelong sufferer of AVPD & generalized anxiety disorder, it's debilitating. For one, something as simple as standing in line to order something can be a grueling task for me. I'll avoid certain situations unless I absolutely have no choice. Going back to the "standing in line" thing. Whenever I see that a line for something is too long, I'll straight up tell myself "No thanks." I'll wait until the line gets smaller or I go when the place is less busy before I close in for my chance (evenings can be great, or when the place is closing soon as most places aren't as busy/crowded). Or midday in the middle of the week when most people are at work. (This usually works well for me, as my work schedule is a bit unusual; I don't have weekends off. My days off are in the middle of the week). Anyway, you catch my drift. I don't have very good "people skills." But my job involves dealing with people. And I sometimes ask myself how I even ended up successfully holding down such jobs (each job that I had in the past involved sales/dealing with customers). I'd say I'm rather "high functioning." Sometimes I just pretend to know what I'm doing. Mostly, I just cope with things, I guess. I'm still a wreck from AVPD.
Sorry if this all just sounded like aimless rambling. I wish I had some sound advice to give. I don't think I can give a straight answer for you. As for finding a job, I'd say, just try to find a job that aligns with your comfort levels, for lack of better word. And just slowly work up from there. Everyone's different, obviously. So, the results/outcomes won't be typical. It will be a difficult journey & process. But as you go along with things, you might find that you can cope with things better. Almost like second nature. Hope this helps a little. AVPD can really take its toll. Try to keep your chin up. Always remain hopeful & cautious but find the strength & will to take action. I wish you well.
@@tulpa_trove I'm from Warsaw, Poland. Thanks a lot.
