Love how you include fun packaging and your favourite memories in the back of each of your journals. So fun to be able to look back on and as you say doesn't bulk out your journal as much as make it challenging to try and write on the pages.

The great thing about being an artist is that all you have to do to be one is make some art, so it seems like you an artist to me. :) I'm glad my envelope made it to you- on the same day I sent one to Georgia that never arrived.
I could break my lease but I don’t want to because I am trying to build my credit score. I guess it’s good I am a loner anyway. But I still miss “my people”. I want to do more “art” even if it’s just random scribbling in my journal. I love watercolor art but I have always steered away from doing it myself. Maybe I need to give it a try.

I'm sad to hear your son is already back in MA and that you had such a down period. Have you ever heard of neurographic art? The idea is that you have a situation that is troubling you and you think about it while making the art. By the time you're finished, you've had the mental space to shift your perspective of the situation or a solution has popped into your head. I can see you creating with your fountain pens and getting to play with all your ink colors😁

Art can be healing too! Sometimes I like using paint or colored ink pens in my journal to express my emotions

Unfortunately depression is just part of my life. I mask it until I can’t any longer.
