I think it's pretty scummy how they force you to pay over 400 dollars if you want a figure of Kong with a silver tooth and the B.E.A.S.T Glove. They should've had the alternate head and the B.E.A.S.T Glove be accessories to the Kong figure, not lock them behind other figures that cost more. What if I just want a figure of Kong that looks like how he appeared in GxK? I don't want to buy 2 more figures just for those accessories. I'm just gonna wait until Hiya Toys makes their version of a GxK Kong figure, at least it'll only be around 60 dollars and actually look like how Kong looked at the end of the movie.
Even tho shma shimo is bigger the hiya one is the perfect size to me compared to other hiya figures and plus the hiya is more cheaper and more detailed like the colors are rendered nicely even the glow to her and the scales but shma just looks like shimo from playmates like if it was not even finished getting sculpted
SHMA have turned fully into EA games, everything is DLC, you can't just get one complete figure, you have to unlock them through buying more figures for accessories you want for your current figure, whilst being stuck with a new figure you don't want....

once again bandai made another kotm ghidorah mistake, they are oversized it for no reason and used the concept design instead final one
Shimo isn’t oversized in anyway actually it’s pretty accurate, shimo is 375ft on all 4’s but when she stands up she’s 531ft, she’s the biggest confirmed titan in the monster verse

Hiya probably is using official stats for Shimo's height and not using the movie relative scaling. It'll be too much of a hassle considering they need to calculate the height of Shimo on-screen across multiple size differences and either use the biggest one, the most manageable one, or the average height appearance. It's easier to just took official stats that are more consistent than movie shots that either take creative/artistic liberties, hard to keep consistent scaling, or make it big and small for convenience sake, and just convert it to the scale they used. I found that Hiya's scale is 1:666,6 (even if they said it's non scale) based on their Goji's height on its utmost default position. It's 18 cm which is what his official height is in that scale. Shimo, being 375 ft or 114,3 m in quadrupedal stance, translate in Hiya's aforementioned scale to 17,15 cm. Hiya's measurements in their announcement is that Shimo being 17 cm on quadrupedal stance. It could be 17,15 cm but advertised as 17 cm for simplicity sake. So yea, Hiya's Shimo is scale accurate to Hiya's own line. But it's not that SHMA is in the wrong, per se, for making their Shimo sooo big. Cuz you have that moment in collecting that you just want the enemy to go bigger, accuracy can go to hell. A David vs Goliath display, as you could call it. There is a market for it, even if it meant the price ended up being absurd. SHMA MV kinda feels whatever when it comes to scaling. Their Ghidorah's size is more or less the same as Hiya's, which is absurd considering Hiya's scale is consistent with their Goji, that is bigger than SHMA's. Their Skar King also being 5 mm taller than Kong probably to satisfy the market that don't care about scale accuracy and is disatisfied by SK's official height being shorter than Kong. Tho of course, could make the argument to just buy the Hiya one later if you want bigger SK than SHMA Kong. But c'mon, at least you would want the design aesthetic to be consistent... and the B.E.A.S.T. glove being there. Yea, this last one, I can't defend nor do I like it.
I think hiya shimo is good scaling with shma godzilla and kong. Idk about scar king bc he's bigger than kong

I dont really mind the hiyas size because shimo changes size like 50 times but its also been confirmed that shes only a tad bit taller than 2014 goji(bts video) so yeah i think they sould of made her a tiny and i mean tiny bit bigger.
Okay with all honesty, shimo is kind of oversized in shma i think.
Also its DEF not wirth $230 with that kind of quality sculpt

Yes, these are printouts of what she would look like. This is as close as we're going to get before we can get our hands on the figure before release. The finished CGI model is only slightly different, as you can tell from the Hiya shimo.
Officially shimo is taller then Godzilla the scales just off in some scenes I don’t think its oversized

I never looked into the proper scale for Mg21, but my biggest complaint with the figure is his lack of red paint 😭🙏
@@DargonEvoSame, I want it but the fact it doesnt have any red at all except on his face is a big turn off for me. I was thinking about just painting it red if I get it but I know I would mess it up so I just havent got it yet
@epicgamer11311 it definitely looks 100% better in person. He does, in fact, have red markings on his dorsal spines 🙏
And his eyes look sick as hell. But at Las, no red torso paint. He does have a nice two-tone throughout his body. I plan on doing a review on him at some point from my own collection.
