How happy and content they are to have such a cosy home while it is uncomfortable and challenging outside. Thank you for building such a nice home for the squirrels ❤
I love your videos and I’m from Illinois so it was nice to watch your videos of the squirrels! Please upload more videos of the squirrels in the nesting box. I was having a bad day, but your video cheered me up! I loved watching how they sleep in the cold. It felt comfy watching them cuddle and sleep. Very cute!
No, i don’t think so. The way one of them grabs onto the other’s back means they’re mating. I’ve watched squirrels doing that before. And by the way, full-grown squirrels normally do not live together unless they’re a pair.
@@IllinoisBackyardBirdsNWildlifeAre you sure? I've never seen a mated pair of squirrels live together. Squirrel fathers just impregnate the female and then they are done. I've only seen youngish siblings or mothers with their grown but not quite independent offspring living together.
It makes me really sad, that in some areas of the US, these lovely animals get shot down. They call them tree rats! I am from Europe - Austria and i feed these little guys daily in some feeders in the backyard of my house.

The last squirrel didn't want the other one to leave lol😊. This is so beautiful. Your friend from Kingston Ontario Canada
No, it was trying to jump it
No, it was trying to have a little sex to warm up.
Oh! ..... is that what they call it these days! Lol!
Oh my gooooodness! Too cute!
Nest warm and cute ❤
Just discovered your channel and I love it! 😍

Yes it was!
😂😂😂😂 cabin fever set in. 😂😂 move bed hog.
Why buy the cow when the milk is free.
I think they wrestle to build up body heat before heading out in the cold. Just like me wrestling the wife before jogging on winter days.
کشتی میگیری با زنت ها xxx 🤣🤣🤣
Yea, I like to exercise my wife as often as I can.

So how far along is she now? 😂
Nice vid, keep'em coming! 😁
Question though: are those two squirrels mates? Roommates for the winter? Is it a mom and her young?
Appreciate your time and questions, most likely they are mates. Looking forward for the mating season.

All squirrels are red where I live. Never seen a grey one.

The Haitians really are eating cats, dogs, ducks and geese in Ohio.
