When I took commercial mechanics umpteen years ago at UCC Dave Worf the instructor at the time said you can always tell a good shop by how clean it is inside..it was part of our training to clean up at the end of the day and the shop would be ready to go in the morning to be efficient.. always have a exit strategy in case something goes wrong..
the shop definitely needs a tidy up and organizing, must create extra work to continually move things and limits the available work space, not to mention safety issues with trip hazards everywhere…..glad to see you back at rust bros
That new polish pad is held on by face nut? Seems that the flex backing pad that uses the 5/8” x11 female and the pads connect with hook and loop would be safer. Correct me if I am wrong

Been doing this kind of work,but to be honest,for me it just doesn't pay the bills,started when I was 16 now I'm 52 fixing cars for very little reward.But it's to late for me,I got to many yrs into this,but your young and can get a triple paying job for less effort.But if you see a future in this stuff then go at it.
