@@joea7590that’s not a lie. I’ve gotten to the point of where I won’t get on without at least a 4 stack, and usually will still wait to get a 5th on. I’m Gold 3 with a 1.6 KD and it gets old having teammates with a .3-.6 playing against plats when I’ve never hit plat before.

@@xBodiezzthe matchmaking is so awful. That’s part of the problem. I’ve been in games where we had every rank from copper to emerald in the same game. It just doesn’t even make sense.
I don't play unranked/standard anymore. The difference between games is insane. One game its full of new people, the next its full of people with 5k hours.

Honestly this is an issue that ubi needs to address. It’s not fun for either side when a 10 level gets matched with a 250 diamond Solis main. Cause the 10 level won’t do shit and is also likely to quit the game if he gets f*card every round but also not fun for the experienced players cause when we die and we have to spectate the new players we want to poke our eyes out.
On god. Theres no way my ass, which has only ever played like 8 games of ranked total should ever be going up against platinums.

Yep, as someone who got the game a week ago, I can't play more than 1 game solo if I don't have my friends on that play this game often. I don't know what he uses to track levels, but I feel like most games I either get a cracked player or just get shit on and go like 1-4. Only level 27 btw...
I really like the game, but it's more fun(and easier to learn lol) if I watch vids from people like varsity.
@@sheetz3226 Yeah the matchmaking is just ass, I started somewhere around the time Thorn came out and matchmaking was less dogshit, but the gameplay loop is still the same. You just kinda lose and thug it out before you get good and start enjoying the game.
I'm a high plat/low emerald and constantly get matched versus champ stacks. I'm currently sitting at 35% winrate by getting constantly 4-0 or 4-1 and just dropped the ranked playlist. Since 2.0, it is sweaty, too grindy, unfair matchmaking and just unfun. Standard is where its at.

Ubisoft knew what they were doing when they made standart for everyone available because i always get hyped when playing standart but Always get destroyed in ranked.

bro its crazy. im lvl 200 previous diamond player (I just dont play ranked anymore) and get people under lvl 15 in my lobbies probably every game. Couldn't tell you the amount of times lately where ive coached a new player through a game. but hey im also happy to see the game getting new players as much as it sucks for enemies who play against me when they first start out I do love teaching the newer players some tricks for their future games
Yesterday I got in a match where I, a level 162, went up against a team between level 50 and 200, and my teammates were level 6, 6, 7, and 8. And one of them left for half the game. In the end i had 10 kills and the next teammate down had 2.
Not that I'm blaming my teammates, it's not their fault they're new. It just sucks that that match was over before it began. I'm surprised i was able to win us two rounds at all.

I'm glad I'm not the only omlne who noticed this. I thought it was just me. I'm always with a group of level 10 going against people who's like level 250. I'm the only carrying, and it's really hard when I'm being attacked all sides.

As someone who recently started siege. I love getting matched against or with amazing players. This helps me learn because I can learn what to do and not to do
My biggest problem with ranked siege is that it doesn’t take player level into consideration when matchmaking. It doesn’t matter what my hidden mmr is, when I play with randoms they are usually brand new, barely over level 50 and absolute bricks but somehow get matched with me and my squad when we need a random, despite that random being no where near the skill level of that match. All it does is make the game less fun for the random, because they get stomped by better opponents, and it makes the game less fun for us because we have a vegetable on our tram

I have been cursed in standard. The enemy team always has plats, emerald, and sometimes diamonds and champs but my teammates are almost always around level 20. One time this guy I played with was level 0. Like that has to have been his first game ever

The other day I got into a lfg with one diamond and a bunch of silvers, the game matched us with four champs and 1 bronze. The majority of our team had never even hit emerald, that bullshit made me quit siege for the week
honestly this game has such a huge learning curve i think the way standard matchmaking works is kinda beneficial, although it’s frustrating having a bad team and going against better players it opens ur eyes to new strats & forces u to play better to win. plus it’s standard u don’t gain or lose anything by playing

Whenever I play on Xbox I usually get low level skill players on my team in standard. And I would be fine with that, but seeing on how the enemy team usually has one Zen player and all high levels/ranks on the enemy team is just insane.

Breaching charges are very lethal in the direction of the charge. they have always been that way. The side you place it on has always made a difference.
Siege Matchmaking might be the worst I've ever seen, you always get the better enemies than teammates. I had a game go to OT and we lost 5-4 cuz we had a teammate who went 0-8.

I've literally been programming my own ranked system as a college senior project as a computer science major! I made a presentation at my university, and it's on my channel now.
What I think is BS is when I solo queue ranked and I get people on my team who say “This is my second game of ranked EVER” and I’m Gold 2
As someone who just returned to the game last week after a break since 2021, it’s a nightmare trying to introduce people to the game because there is just too much to learn on top of the shootouts being some of the most unforgiving combat in any game.
The AI mode is trash for new players because you either face ai you can literally run up to and run circles around or those that will hipfire headshot you from halfway across the map not to mention you can only attack and the amount of operators you just don’t get to see in action at all until you’re in a real match fighting them.
Hitting that legion with the hammer was just bullying 😂😂😂
It’s such a mixed bag. Some nights I’ll play with my 5 stack and it will be all lobbies like this all night long. Then other nights we face nothing but higher elo players all night long. And there’s almost no in between.
Sieges matchmaking is why I've sat out the last 3 seasons of ranked. I just can't do it anymore.... It's almost become a requirement to have a 5 stack to have fun in this game now and tbh that's shit.
I was trying to get my brother into Siege, and I was shocked that he could play Standard but not quick match, and then we went into quick match and it was all high levels and the sweatiest games ever, we lost 6 straight before we won, I hate Ubisoft
Usually it’s the other way around for me where I play since I came back from a long break and I am put into exclusively full emerald+ lobbies when I am clearly not able to play good at that level
First match I played today, all my teammates left not even halfway into Round 1. This game is fucking amazing

Recently came back to the game and I've found that matchmaking especially ranked has definitely gotten worse. It's not really fun getting destroyed by dudes way better than me all the time. Like why am I getting matched with people in Plat this season or former champs when I'm in copper/bronze. But what really aggrivates me is that I have to wait 5 minutes or so to even possibly get into a standard match for some reason.

I'm often on the other end of this, especially in ranked. I have yet to leave copper no matter how hard I try, yet everyone seems to steamroll me. Makes ranked feel more like a lottery than a show of skill.
My friend group just got siege on sale and queuing with them sucks cuz I havent played in years so we're basically all new players. We did get to make someone's first siege experience a 4v4 in-house on house though so that was sick
Not sure if anyone is having this issue in ranked but im hardstuck in Gold 4 because every matchmaking ive been getting 2-3 of my teammates get disconnected or spend the beginning afk. Its terrible and not sure why its happening. Just also even getting put into lobbies with toxic tk teammates throwing the round too.

I just started playing on console with my boys and I used to be plat 1 and now I gotta play on an alt account when we play ranked because otherwise we just Que up against champs, we are gold and silver, I won’t lie they are bad but it’s a shame all the other game modes just aren’t funny enough

on PS4 seems like I get stupid low-level people and the other team is absolutely destroying and I have at least two or three people my team that goes 0-4. Aggravating as hell.

im a plat player on console and its gotten to the point in ranked where i either face coppers and win easily or i face diamonds and lose so hilariously fast i question why i play this game. i wanna get better at the game but im not facing anyone at my level, can somebody give me tips on how to improve?

Its been like this since last season for me and a few peope i stack with all over lvl 200 accounts, all bar 1 is or has been regularly in diamond elo (ranked 1.0 diamond not 2.0) and we get nothing but brand new players in standard, so much so that we're on about a 65 win streak in standard since last season.
Which is polar opposite to previous seasons, until about 3 seasons ago standard felt like it had some SBMM now its 100% turned off or just broken in the matchmaking, like it was funny the first 20 or 20 games but its just getting boring now
Played some ranked yesterday had 3 people on my team drop 0 kills, next match I play against a team that had only 1 player get any kills. I’m in gold rn, so I don’t really understand how I’m being matched with complete bots sometimes
Yeah im relatively new im level 63 now and i just got to gold 4 and i have exactly a 1.0 kd and apparently about a week ago that made them think im the best alive because my ranked games for 5 days straight have been awful and ive had actively emeralds in my matches and i just get obliterated and dont have fun lol
I’m almost level 200 from starting at year two and the other day in standard I went up against the team that was not even over level 10… it was genocide… wasn’t even fun. I felt bad.

Idk, standard this season is the most fun I’ve had. Can definitely tell it has no skill base in it anymore. And loading into games not knowing how my opponents are is the fun of it. Either I’m: gonna get shit on, or I’ll shit on someone, or have a mid grade game.

They need to bring back Unranked, for real. I hate getting a group of 4 new players in a game on one team or the other because the game just ends up being a slog. Unranked provided the competitive experience (most times) without risking ELO that let you play with friends. It was fun. Standard is just worse IMO

even though it’s a completely different game i love rocket leagues ranked system it only plays players no more than one higher or lower than your own rank keeping it fairly evenly skilled even if some players are worse than you at the same rank

Dude even in ranked I'll get plats and emeralds when the highest rank in our stack is silver. It's absolutely absurd that the system made for playing against similar ranks, puts you against very different ranks.

The matchmaking is either terrible or jynxzi is bringing in a crazy amount of people. On xbox the LFGs are usually around 2,000-7,000 but now its up to 81,000
My current rank is silver 3, I just played a match with 2 champ players, why is this possible! That is literally 5 ranks above mine!
Separate note, on the same match there was an imbedded spy on my team, the game went 4-4 and in the final round he stays rappelled on a window shaking his head no.

this rank 2.0 is busted, i have 1.4kd 1.3 win/lose but now i lose 26 and gain 16 each game, can somone explain to me why this is happening
