the coverpage illustration has such stunning detail 🦉✨🌿 really reminds me of old-fashioned fairy tale or children's book illustrations, with block printing or woodcut illustrations. and i love the new calendar method! i might try that out too ❤
This is gorgeous! I love it so much. It reminds me almost of a woodcut/pyrography scene, the way you've got the darker black on almost every detail. So lovely! I am very jealous of your artistic ability, and I love watching your bujo setup videos. Thank you for sharing your involved and time-consuming artwork.
🦉 That picture of the owl is pretty epic! My bullet journals are much closer to Ryder's minimalistic approach, but I enjoy watching creative people put together cool spreads. Also wanted to say that I'm reading through Ryder's book about the Bullet Journal method and it is very enlightening. Have a good evening everyone!
Omg Elizabeth this is amaaazing!! I admire your patience, I haven’t been able to do much but sketch lately. I really want to sit down and do something like this soon. Reminds me of a woodcut like everyone is saying. You should be so proud of yourself ❤
I typically don't leave comments, but I have to say how wonderful it came out and that I appreciate that you saw it through to your vision. I find my favorite spreads were the ones I put wayyyy more time and effort than I bargained for, its so very rewarding, and was so relaxing to watch each line drawn. 🦉
Wow. Just, wow! I am in total awe of your talent and thank you for sharing it with us. I agree with a lot of people's comments regarding the owl illustration in that it definitely looks like a woodblock print. Well done on persevering with all that detail, it has well and truly paid off. Stunning. I could watch/listen to you for hours (in fact, I do when the old insomnia strikes, but shouldn't really admit to that when there's housework to be done!). Thank you.
i always see your videos to get relaxed, but in this one, i think i get so nervous, just like you hahahah, Im so happy for the final result, you are so talented!! i love everything you do
Haha I did start losing patience at one point, wondering why in the world I was doing this to myself 😂 my husband just laughed because I do this so often haha
🦉 The owl (tattoo) on my back salutes your beautiful owl. Instead of "simple" I'd say it looks easy on the eyes. I really appreciate the amount of time and work it cost. A great artwork, really.
I saw the thumbnail and was like 'okay Elizabeth always makes the most stunning art, but this has got to be a picture bc it's so detailed and I can't even imagine how a human would make it on paper' and then I watched the video with my jaw open the whole time! It's incredible!!!!
I might be biased because I loooooove black work art, but I really feel like this is where you shine. Your Dracula’s castle is my favorite art you’ve done so far. It’s so stunning, and this is also incredible. I love it so much 🦉 Edit: also, I always love your nail polish colors. Cirque Colors is great. Have you tried Mooncat? Their polish is the best I’ve ever used, hands down. Their specialty is sparkly polishes but their cremes are amazing. They have an olive green color called The Stanger that I think you’d love. And their brown, Kafkaesque, is so rich m, and Emo For Life is the best black nail polish out there IMO. I’m talking one coat opacity. It’s chef’s kiss.
Gorgeous!!!! Thanks for the inspiration especially the reminder about line weight! The illustration is so much work! You did so good on the face and the piece. Also that sleeve looks like my sleeves on my “I am Kenough”sweatshirt 😅 I’m so here for the Kenough possibly ☺️
The owl art certainly DOES look like a woodcutting. Have you ever done either an ink drawing or a watercolor of leaves reflected on water and raindrops falling on the water? I saw that in a video today and thought I would like to try to create some art similar to what I saw. 🦉
WOOOOW!!! I love illustrations like this but always find it very daunting to make one myself. I feel totally inspired now after watching your video! :D Thank you, Elizabeth and have a wonderful start into the new week. Sending much love and creative vibes
What a beautiful way to start the New Year! Love the new calendar setup. Thanks for another lovely video, and all your hard work to get it to us! 🌟👏🏽🤎🦉
Beautiful page. I love Owls. So, how many markers did you go through making this page? I was in awe of the details you put into this but kept thinking that you must have gone through a lot of microns. 🦉
🦉🌲 Remarkable employment. I stand inclined towards, the feather. It ascertained dissimilar procedures of crosshatching. I loathe the northern lights. I glimpse a cascade. Yours assembled my oil painting spread glimpse diminutive. 🌲🦉 #BulletJournaling 🌲🦉
Can someone who is working give me suggestions how to use a BuJo in more private life? When I was in school I would write tasks and assignments. But I don’t take my bujo to work, love the system and feel like I want to use also in the future 😢😊
The owl is stunning! It reminds me of a woodcut jewelry box my late grandfather made. Or a illustration from an old book about fairytales.🦉
Oh how pretty!! It’s like a woodcut ❤ 🦉
Thank you! I love woodcut art 🥰
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the captions.
The owl illustration came out looking beautiful! 🦉🥰🥰🥰

Aw thank you! I love that ❤️ I’d love to know what you think of you give it a try!
Thank you for sharing. It is always fun to see the process of these spreads come to life. 🦉
What a stunning theme, that owl is *outstanding* ☺☺☺
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Your video caught my eye because I love 🦉’s. Beautifully done!!!
Wow, the amount of work that should have taken you is mind-blowing! It reminds me of the printmaker Angela Harding 🦉
❤❤❤. So beautiful. Can't wait to see how the calendar works.

Also wanted to say that I'm reading through Ryder's book about the Bullet Journal method and it is very enlightening. Have a good evening everyone!
I love how much this looks like a wood cut print!
Thank you! 🥰
That owl is gorgeous! 🦉

🦉🦉 everything you make is beautiful but this one is especially amazing

This is beautiful. It would remind me of the owl in Labyrinth. 🙂🙂

I'm just in awe with your patience and creativity. This cover page would drive me crazy. 😅 🦉
Haha I did start losing patience at one point, wondering why in the world I was doing this to myself 😂 my husband just laughed because I do this so often haha
Stunning setup, once again! That it’s my go to monthly setup. Been using it for years. Hope you like it! ♥️🦉
🦉 The owl (tattoo) on my back salutes your beautiful owl. Instead of "simple" I'd say it looks easy on the eyes. I really appreciate the amount of time and work it cost. A great artwork, really.
Also it definitely lives up to the expectation of the outside of the bujo (like you said in your setup you hoped). Really well done!
I love love love it here❤. So inspirational
So cute ! I love owls 🦉
Me too!
I love the black and white! I haven’t tried just using black only theme and I’ll definitely have to try it🦉
It’s something I come back to every one in a while and I always enjoy it ❤️
I saw the thumbnail and was like 'okay Elizabeth always makes the most stunning art, but this has got to be a picture bc it's so detailed and I can't even imagine how a human would make it on paper' and then I watched the video with my jaw open the whole time! It's incredible!!!!
Oh my gosh thanks! Haha that’s so nice 🥰 it did take ages 😂
Stunning cover page. Even though I saw the thumbnail, I couldn’t imagine it would turn out like that ❤ 🦉
Aw haha thank you! ❤️
Stunning! 🦉
Yes, it looks like a wood block print! Very impressive. 😊
I love the look of wood blocking so thank you!
🦉🦉🦉🦉❤❤❤❤ always loved your spreads

Beautiful owl in pen and ink!!! Love the contrast of black and white and minimalistic look!
The intricate details in this artwork are amazing. Absolutely stunning 🦉
Thank you so much! I wish I didn’t love it so much because it takes forever 😂❤️
This theme is so pretty! It reminds me of Redwall!
Ooh, pretty, it's got woodcut vibes.
Thank you! I love woodcut art ❤️
That illustration is so beautiful - love the super detailed art and then leaving everything else so minimal. Lovely as usual ❤
Aw thank you! Glad you liked it 🥰
Beautiful setup! 🦉
Thank you so much!
🦉It is beautiful!
Fantastic!! Loved this!

Haha yes it is 😂 I love it and wear it all the time now that it’s super cold out!

Wow! 🦉
Beautiful page. I love Owls. So, how many markers did you go through making this page? I was in awe of the details you put into this but kept thinking that you must have gone through a lot of microns. 🦉
I only killed one pen, surprisingly! It was an older 005 micron and the tip was a bit splayed by the end of the drawing. Not too bad!
What a gorgeous owl, PBB! I think you balanced out everything beautifully. Your poor wrist & hand though! I bet you were stiff & sore after that. 🖤🦉
🦉 This was gorgeous!
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Correction. This might look like a simple and minimal set-up, but this artwork is definitely not simple! Love how it turned out❤
Haha very true! I underestimated how much time and effort it would take to do what I envisioned 😂
🦉Stunning
