Great video! I always love when Paolo makes an appearance in your videos. His jumps are always so impressive! Devin- I like your idea of calling the modified Walleys “Davids”!! 😂
This kinda reminds me of a toe walley where it's a toe loop but from the back inside edge instead. Not snaping over the right side is probably why I can't do more than a half rotation either. I will give this a try tomorrow.
So awesome seeing all the variations of the Walley (and David, lol). Thank you! Unrelated: Do you have tutorials for returning to the ice after an injury? ie - working back up to your skill level and reconditioning your body, etc. Thanks for any help! 😊
oh, know wonder why I was having so much trouble with my axle. I only completed a single in my life on ice and I can check that one off my bucket lift.
Hi coach julia! this question isn’t very relevant to this video but since it’s your most recent im hoping you’ll see this a bit quicker! i’m starting to learn my toe loop (i’m a leftie) so when i do my inside left 3 turn it means my right foot is behind me and what i jump off and i then land on my left foot, i’m wondering if this si correct since usually with sal and waltz i’d jump off my left and land on right. I don’t know if i’m supposed to do a right inside 3 turn so then i’m jumping off my left which i usually do. Can you let me know what you do please and if this first way is correct!
@@kellylambert4691 interesting. That usually is done on the other leg, so skating on the left outside instead of the right outside. An outside Walley is more like a Toeless Toe Loop.
Early! Julia you are a great online coach, and I watch your channel a lot! ❤
Yay! Thank you!
@@CoachJulia Thank you so much for repling, you are really awsome to me!
Amazing, I am still learning new elements❤😊 Thank you very much, Julia! 🙏🏻👍
You're so welcome!

Very cool! Now, what's the next Paolo costume? I'm hoping for tons of rhinestones!

Wow. Crazy how exact and particular that is.
You both are virtuoso with ice skating.

Hmmm. Maybe this is why I never get an axel. Have been waiting so I can complete single jumps. Will try this walley.
Glad to see you teach the Walley jump that I have seen (in video) @#hanyuyuzuru2624 do during warm-up: ruclips.net/user/liveMY3dlxt9MvQ/?t=1h9m5s. 🙏
An outside edge walley is a toeless lutz. At least that’s what my coach called it.
