That's a massive ground mount! I need to find someone in the MA area who can drill and drive ground screws like that. Let me know if you know of anyone!
Nice! I was a little concerned the power pole will be casting a shadow on the front array, but then I heard they were driving micro-inverters...very good and bloody expensive! Thanks for sharing.
Yes. Basically the power can be generated anywhere in their territory and a percentage can be used by one or more people also in their territory. Check out their website for more info on it.
I'm curious about what your part of this installation was, Ben? Did you subcontract the ground mount racking system out and then do the panel installation and electrical? Would have loved to see their system that they are using.
We sub out the ground screws and excavating. Everything else is in house. I think I got some time-lapse of building the racking, I'll have to find it and post it.
45 degrees would be good for off grid. We mount the grid tie systems at 35 to give better summer production but still shed and have decent winter production.
WoW!!! Massive array for residential..!!!!

Is that group net metering something that Green Mountain Power does? Very interested in that...

nice and straight
What Ground mount Systems are those?
What angle are those mounted at? If that's in VT, would you mount at 45 degrees to shed snow?
