Good for you (and Lil Sally) on your new truck. You'll do good, no doubt, cuz you know what you're doin and showin everybody how to perservere and be successful!! Praise the Lord! :)
First truck I started driving in 2002 was a Freightliner FLD 120 it was a 1996, it had a 3176 cat with a 10 speed. It was a old Roehl truck. You are right, you cannot beat a Whataburger. We would go to them all the time when we visit my dad in Brownsville Texas.I sure wish we could get one in Wisconsin. That is awesome to hear about your trucking company doing so well!!!!
Those are good ole trucks. I had a 98 condo truck like that but it was white. It was a really nice one for its age. It had a 430 honcat and a super 10! Trams in ot and it ran out pretty good. I t could run 3 digits if need be but of course theres never a reason for that. Mine had a single factory exhaust but a good riding roomy interiored truck
i graduated in 96' heard the old, 10 speed freightliner Detroit 60 were well made. i was going to say, running 5 trucks is a huge deal, keeps a guy super busy. very good subject DRIVERS. lets hear the details. A man has to Take Home $2,000.00 a week if they are gone weekends
Glad to hear from you again it's great to know that you are doing well That freight shaker really looks awesome i for one would be proud to drive a good looking well maintained classic 😀 God bless you and stay safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
Still love seeing your videos!! I'm sticking with you! Love to see your growth and that you treat your drivers really good. That says a lot about you as a person!
Man I would drive for u but I live in indiana. I know all about the fld120. I ran a 92 and 94 fld that was operated by cr England back in the day. It was flat red with a n14 cummins and she ran strong. U got a gem in my book.
man i love the old trucks i got an old 92 pete 379 ext hood that this is a beast could out run any new truck out there but the new 389's are pretty sharp but i got stay with the old rigs love em to much
Glad to hear business is good! That old FLD does look rather good for its age! As for the driver struggle, this fleet I drive for is bringing in all kinds of freshly licensed CDL drivers, in exchange for tuition reimbursement. Fresh brand new drivers in feed delivery trucks is can be quite the show to watch! 🤦🏻♂️
I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully you can get through this driver crunch. I will keep waiting for more updates. Really enjoy your videos. Keep on keeping on.
Glad you're back! Love your content. I have my tanker and hazmat on my CDL up here in Oklahoma. I think you'd be a great guy to work for, but I just need to be home daily.. Wish you the best of luck!
There are many people leaving their old job and maybe you will get lucky to get a good worker that wants a change from an office, nursing, fire, police job. On the Columbus comment Columbus's papers are in Portuguese which is funny for an Italian explorer working for the Queen of Spain.
Yep been wondering where you been at. I do remember you said in one of your other videos you said you bought a ol clapped out fld. So I’ve been waiting patiently to see this truck.
I will say 96 was not that long ago because that's the year I was born I truck driving farm I've been driving trucks since I was 18 on the farm when I got my first permit been on the road since 21 and I love going over the road I've got a 379 Peterbilt and a 389 and an old 362 cabover and I also got 359 I started out in the Freightliner similar to that actually ironically the same color
That is a nice looking truck. You should be thankful. I don't think you know what you have there. Get the kinks worked out. What you're spending maintenace and upgrades I would imagine wod offset the payment of a new truck. Plus, you can do a youtube series of the rebuild. If it was me, I would prefer an old truck versus dealing with electronic log and DEF system.
Where in the hell have you been?!? Truck #5? I warned ya & your followers, including me, more than one truck will eat your lunch and you'll be at the house playing administration secretary. Glad you're back, wishing you the best!
I'd much rather run that old Freightliner than a new truck
Those flds are comfortable ! Old road warriors! Good trucks!
I was so happy to see a notification about your videos. Glad to see your back and doing well.
I cut my teeth on the ol FLD120's and the classics with 430/470 and 430/500hp Detroit's, love'em.
