I keep records of everything. Call me OCD. 😂 It brings me joy to go back and look at what I accomplished or not.

I only keep records of maintenance on my bikes, and my banking. I often wish I kept records of what I do on individual days of trips. It would be awesome to be able to go back and see what I did off camera!!
@@Motoramblings I don’t keep the records of my non commuting rides…which I should start. At one point I was curious to see the percentage of times I rode the bike vs taking the cage. Thanks for watching Patrick!!!

I don't keep records of many things... riding days is one of them. It would make me sad to see how many days I missed per year. I haven't ridden to work much this year... it's been either raining or too hot most of the Spring/Summer, ugh. FWIW, I don't mind riding in the heat, but the comments and looks I get when I show up to work already sweaty from the heat & humidity is why I take my truck.
Glad you're getting some riding in! I feel like I get out once a week, if that.
@@RoadReality when I commute it’s in the evening when the temps are starting to come down….not that far down but a degree or 2. I sweat enough during work so people aren’t gonna look at me funny if I come to work all sweaty. I actually don’t mind, kinda like riding in the heat. So 90°+ days I’m still riding. @@GoofyBastard Yeah, I hear that... I work in an office environment, and the building is humid during the summer and dry in the winter [yay, sinus infections!], so if you enter the building hot, it's at LEAST an hour before you stop and dry off... and then your shirt is ruined. Well, not in my case because I only wear Harley t-shirts to work, but I digress.
Either way, my boss talked to me a couple of times about it, so now if it's hot and humid in the morning, I'm not riding. On the weekends? All bets are off, as long as it isn't raining! I have plenty of 100F+ miles under my belt :D
Well!!! Hmmmm I use to be record keeper, bookkeeper… LOL I did lots of journaling, but meh!! I don’t anymore!!! I have a motorcycle journal book( Amazon) it was a gift and love entering in some rides!!
However have always been a shutterbug so I have photos of everything now!! Just more fun!!!
I don’t commute on my motorcycle, I use mine strictly for riding all day long on weekends only!
How you liking that Low Rider? It sounds sweet!!
@@HarleyGurl114 first off…I love this bike. It took me such a long time to get onto a Harley…I’m very happy that this is the one I wound up getting. When I do get the chance to go riding on the weekends it’s generally for about 4-5 hours. So commuting for me is the way I get to ride on a pretty regular basis. My biggest problem is I don’t do enough of the shutterbug thing and never take pictures. Thanks for watching Gloria
I’m hyper aware of the time of day I ride, mainly because of the deer!!!
@@Motoramblings they are very dangerous. That’s the one way I will say loud pipes saves lives….deer tend to run in the opposite direction when I blip the throttle!!!
Stock headlight on the Low Rider ST in the dark yay or nay?
@@GearsOfSnore IMO the stock headlight on the ST is trash. I want to change it out at some point. Thanks for watching
