@garrettmckinney yup. The fact the Hummer looks normal compared is huge and funny. I always wanted a H2 when I was younger. So getting a EV version would be a full circle moment. The Tesla is cool but it's kind of meh
I just bought the pickup version of this a couple days ago. Absolutely love it! Head Turner everywhere! I was smiling the whole time watching the video because it does that!
I was quoted $17,400 a YEAR to insure a hummer! Yes, I have a few tickets now, and it’s not the first time in my life. However, what makes this even more crazier is that I live in a very safe neighborhood and I’m close to 50 years of age. I’m not a kid!
The interior looks amazing. It’s beautiful without losing any masculinity or durability. They really took their time with the design of the Hummer twins. I’m not sure who put in more work the designers or the engineers but I’m genuinely impressed.
So after watching this I noticed a couple of things...it's very similar to my H2 in the location of the rear radio and USB ports. About the same mileage (300 miles to a tank), design cues. Unfortunately it too over priced for what it is. I will get one, just waiting for them to come down a little more. My local dealer did not want to honor my reservation price so I just wait a little more. Awesome review and I'm glad I found it!!!!!!
Ive got the truck.... lower the back window when u have the tops off and it helps SOME. But yeah the windshield for sure causes heavu windnoise on the interstate..... I LOVE MINE
7:29 with my EV Sierra GMC I have the one pedal and I find it to be very useful and at first it was very jerky but that’s because I didn’t know how to use it. I later on realized your controlling everything all by one pedal so the slower you release it or the quicker you release it is all on how quickly it will react so just think of it like that it’s very useful and it’s way better to use that than using your actual brakes because sooner or later you got to replace those. But for some people I guess practice makes perfect.
Not for me but a pretty cool suv. I was at the dealership yesterday and the salesman kept trying to show me these and the electric Silverado truck. Very good looking vehicles but I just want a Denali truck, please!
Wow Miles, score one for the June bug! I grew up in Virginia during the 1960's and the June bugs were thick in the air because the Green June Beetles are active during the day. Summer activities seem to attract the bugs in great numbers and all the kids in the neighborhood learned a valuable lesson - keep your moth closed as you ride your bike. Yep, every season there was always one really dumb kid that ended up with a June bug in the mouth! (they taste very bitter and a wee bit of Pepsi got the taste out of my mouth).
Only gripe i have, that is not a lot of noise on the freeway, 1982 gt 5.0 mustang with straight pipe, BBK headers and flow masters with no AC, gen 1 raptor with 35’s , metal bumpers, 245k miles, lights bars etc. those are much louder for context lol
Great review!! Glad it’s car seat capable (front & rear)! Besides the cabin noise? Any other flaws? Also can the map be displayed on the driver dashboard?
With the key being close to the vehicle, wouldn't you be able to unlock the doors and drive away with key fob on the hitch? Or does it have to be in the vehicle.
@@pete6705 It’s crazy when you take into account how wages are still at an all time low. Wages haven’t kept up with inflation for over 30 years. Yet they expect people to just have 100k laying around for a car? No. I can buy a house for a hundred thousand dollars, so if I can buy a house for that.. a car should never cost as much as a house.
@@jevonjemir3844You can’t find a home for $100k, it’ll be more like $300+k. Plus $100k for everything the Hummer can do I think it’s worth the price they’re asking. Obviously this SUV is out of your budget but there are plenty of people who will buy it.
He could you have take out one top mirror and one cover at a time , so that it doesnt look like that you really need the whole side way. Just little more efficient .
A vehicle that wide and high should not have a dead/loose on-center feel to the steering. I rented a late-model Grand Cherokee that had that steering feel and I hated every moment of driving it.
This vehicle is such an odd one. There doesn't seem to be any specific group of people they're aiming for anymore. Previous the people who buy hummers buy them because they want these massive, intimidating gas guzzling SUVs. Now its electric. I imagine there is a lot of crossover in the groups that buy hummers, and the groups that hate electric vehicles. The kind of person who wants an EV generally wants a smaller hatchback, sedan or SUV the size of a Model X and not this monster of a vehicle. It's too expensive even for the people who like EVs who want a massive impractical SUV and for those wanting a bigger vehicle with space for tons of people, this doesn't hit that requirement either. It only has 5 seats which you can find in any much more reasonable SUV/Sedan/Crossover/Hatchback. In Q1 2023 it sold a whole... 2 vehicles. By the end of 2023 they sold only 3,260 of them and In Q1 2024 it has sold a whopping 1,668 units. It doesn't appeal much to any specific group beyond the people who want a hummer no matter the cost and impracticality. Its a cool vehicle, but not many people are looking for a 7+ ft wide 9,000+ lb monster that goes 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
The low number sold is due to lack of supply not demand - 100K+ waiting for their reservation filled. People buy them because the hummer is cool and fun to drive not because they are super practical. Probably same reason people buy Ferraris. I have a hummer and actually get a 400 mile range in city driving and charging at home at 9.5 cents per KW hour costs me less than $25 - so kind of practical in that respect.
This channel is an addiction I can listen to Miles for hours my entire RUclips history is filled with MPH content 😂
No Fr I watched one video 5yrs ago and haven’t stopped watching 😭😭
Same!!
I'm honored. Thank you for the encouragement!
no honestly i’ve been stuck since i was 16, about to. turn 21 now😂😂
Sounds like a stalker
I don't care what anyone says i want one of these more than the CyberTruck
Yep I agree with you
I agree with you. The Hummer looks somewhat normal. But the CyberTruck looks like a child designed it. But they are both polarizing.
@garrettmckinney yup. The fact the Hummer looks normal compared is huge and funny. I always wanted a H2 when I was younger. So getting a EV version would be a full circle moment. The Tesla is cool but it's kind of meh
No I’m right with you bruh I don’t like Tesla anything plus I always thought hummers where cool vehicles still are ❤
I just bought the pickup version of this a couple days ago. Absolutely love it! Head Turner everywhere! I was smiling the whole time watching the video because it does that!
When you did the 0-60 the earth spun slightly faster for a few moments
😆
The best-looking EV right there in the market !! If only GM would be able to keep this at 70-80 K these things would sell like hot cakes .
They could do it with rebates like they used to do.

That's a group! Probably the tickets like you said; what Ins company?
That’s funny I just called about insurance for it 2025 suv hummer 2 was only $150 a month full coverage State Farm. In ohio.
You must be a terrible driver. I pay about 165 a month. Gieco in FL and insurance is high down here
That Hummer is a tank.
Idk why but that surfing board had my anxiety going up and down because everytime he braked, i thought the board will touch the screen and break it.
and i thought it was just me ! I so wanted to move the board away through the entire video !!
Same thoughts here 😂
I swear your neighbors must think you are a mob boss with all these gorgeous cars 🤣🤣
just got done with a 5k and now watching on the way to church!

It lost its masculinity when it became an EV
Every detail is JUST!

This is an awesome review of the Hummer EV SUV. Its exterior and interior are great-looking, and I loved your point of view. THX MPH
Thank you, Hector! I'm so glad you enjoyed it
I think this is the pinnacle of ev suv's
It's not even an suv at this size 😨
I aagree. It looks amazing and the interior honestly looks more like a luxury brand then a hummer.
@@G82Watts not really it feels a bit cheap in person.
Miles, glad you liked my Giulia quad, remember I saw a hummer ev suv one day on my way to Costco, what a coincidence! Love your videos!
Love the Lincoln! Beautiful redesign 👍🏻👍🏻
Really enjoyed the video! This is my current dream car, so it was nice to live vicariously through you
You could try being normal

Great video, but the bumpy surf board was very distracting. I was hoping you would remove it before you left your driveway. 😅
Entertainment, informative and fun, great video as always 👍

Nice! Well, you know it will work 👍
Lucky family
The interior is fun.
Your videos are so good. Ok Popcorns are ready........

The perfect 👌🏻 review of every aspect of the vehicle always from our host. Thanks 👍🏻 man!
Thank you for such beautiful content like you ❤
Thanks for the support!
It will nice to see the Hummer H3T back
You should have done a parking garage part. I’m curious.
ngl i kinda wanted to see ya surfing bro!
You can watch Madagascar while you're driving!

I was thankful neither Christina nor I had a June bug fly into our open mouths while laughing!
I wonder if when you take the roof panels off the curtain airbags go with it, or perhaps they are stored somewhere else like the B or A pillar
We hear no sound like that in ours!! Maybe it’s your microphone making it that load or maybe it the fact you didn’t close the windows very well 😂
Does this fit in a standard garage?
I have always loved the hummer EV, great to see you do a video on it!
you should do a day in the life with a cyber truck
Mine will be in Hawaii soon
How much is it to charge when not at home?

Would love to see the first LS3 swap in this thing.
Didn't know 2 reviewers I watch so much were married 😮
Great Video
The distance between that surf board and the screen was stressing me outtt😅
One just melted at Conely gmc a couple of months ago after going through a 2 foot of water. 😂
Do you prefer the pickup or SUV version?
Kinda wish we got the surfing footage
May be in another life 🙏
W car
Why didn't you use the self parking?
Great review!!
Glad it’s car seat capable (front & rear)!
Besides the cabin noise? Any other flaws?
Also can the map be displayed on the driver dashboard?
Fingers crossed hoping you can do a video on the new Mercedes CLE 53 AMG 🙏🏼
How bad is the wind noise? My wife has the new hard top bronco and it’s quite loud at speed. Wondering if it’s the same with the hummer
With the key being close to the vehicle, wouldn't you be able to unlock the doors and drive away with key fob on the hitch? Or does it have to be in the vehicle.
I tested it, and the case was thick enough to prohibit the fob signal from working.
Nice Car
YAYYYY A VIDEO!!!
22:25 this is exactly what I want from marriage
Haha. It's pretty great
Top notch
your wife is mobile mama?!!! that's so cool!
Drove one at the electrify expo was suprisingly planted but def felt the weight. Miles, how much does it cost you charge at home?
Do you feel the rear axle moving as its steering?
15:50 - Can u tellme location buddy 😁

That board looks absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the fact that roof rails are available for this vehicle.
Gm quality plus high voltage battery equals fires
Hammer a way better than cyber trash!
We're riding with ya.
MilesPerHr you could have negated the wind buffering by rolling down the back window.
How much you pay for insurance?
I called State Farm. Hummer suv ev 2. Was $150 a month
Starting at 100k after fees is just wild.
It’s not that crazy in today’s market. It’s a massive, high end luxurious SUV with tons of tech and features and 1000 hp.

50 hours a month how much extra on PG&E a month??
I noticed you didn't go surfing when you had the S2K 😂
