The other day I came home to my chair on its back surrounded by 5 black office chairs! I had enough which brought me here on how to tighten it. Thanks again!

I had no idea it could just be tightened like that. With the tilt lock in, it would still lean back a little bit and it always annoys the hell out of me

I pushed in my height adjustment knob and it locked the tension, now it's perfectly fine. THANK YOU!!!

People may think it's not a big deal but who doesn't know, and using it for the first time, this video will be really helpful. It maybe sounds stupid but it was a simple thing... Spent like 30 minutes fucking with my chair to make it tilt, just to find out its the damn lock mechanism. Then almost fell over after I unlocked it. 10/10

I have a similar chair and this helped me. Just get in the chair, tilt backwards while the lock is off then of course lock it into position. Even if the chair is already tilted backwards just tilt backwards and it should move forwards if the tilt lock is in the off position.

Seriously, the instruction manuals teach you how to build the chair but not how to use this mechanism, lmao wtf. We all had to youtube it.
Before I found this video, I would hit my chair with a big stick and yell at it to tilt and adjust the height. I wish I had seen this a long time ago.

I have a similar chair and this helped me. Just get in the chair, tilt backwards while the lock is off then of course lock it into position. Even if the chair is already tilted backwards just tilt backwards and it should move forwards if the tilt lock is in the off position.

Turn the knob clockwise (as she turns it counter clockwise). Turn the knob counter clockwise (as she turns it the opposite way)...
