I can see how this practice would be a good one for bed--at 4 a.m., I felt so calm and still, I almost fell asleep in upright seated posture! It's wonderful how each of these practices--like this morning's--so far have brought up a particular thought pattern in my head and I am now able to see it for what it is--a thought pattern--and in doing so, I can choose to redirect my thinking to being tranquil or act upon the thought pattern. Good stuff! Love this meditation!

Mariya, this program is something else. Thank you very much for putting it together. May I ask you where you got such a variety of practices? You don't have to disclose all your sources of course =)) But I'd like to get a general idea as this's a plethora of mental and physical well-being.

I managed to do this meditation until the end! Really works to make me slow down from the day and reaally be in tune with my body and really listen to it. For me I definitely feel calm and my mind went silent immediately but after a few minutes I started hearing voices of my shadow self and a few suppressed memories flashed... Didn’t trigger me though, if anything it gave me clarity to the past. So it’s almost like a gentle therapy and I’m very thankful to you 🙏🏻
Omg!!!! I feel very relaxed. I came kind stressed after walking my dogs, it was peaceful but also stressing because they want to be everywhere and smell everywhere and bark!! So I came and did it and I feel so good. It's my 5 days doing this, and in meditation I'm Starting to observe the thoughts!!! Finally. And I hope I continue everyday. I want to say when I was meditating I ended doing circles with my head,very soft and small. Is that normal??? Thank you.

Sat nam. If you're new to Kundalini YOga you may find focusing at the tip of the nose challenging. It's absolutely normal but it'll get better with practice. x
Ok thank you Mariya! I cry with every practice I do! I find I do cry mostly when we're warming up and doing the breathing work.... Also, I struggled to see the end of my nose haha I have quite a flat nose! But I prefer to close my eyes I find I concentrate better on my breathing that way. I must admit I do struggle to stick with meditation and see the full practice through, I'm not sure if I'm impatient or pressuring myself. Will this just improve the more I do it? 🙏
Sat Nam. Sorry for my delayed reply to your message. It is normal to have emotions coming up during meditation. Just allow it and let them go. This is the cleansing process. You may find it difficult to have a consistent meditation practice at the beginning but if you stick with up it will be a part of your daily life. Keep it up. Blessings, Mariya

Would you consider these classes yoga exercises or just meditations? What I am wondering is do you recommend we do an additional exercise workout or is this enough?
+tanya cottle sat nam, every day is different, some days we do deep meditative practice and sometimes more exercises. You can always do what you feel you need. The program offers the mind work while adjusting the body to be still. If you want to work on the physical as well I would suggest you combine this with my 40 day weight loss program on RUclips to get both mental and physical workout. I hope this helps. It could hurt when you are doing something new that your body is not used, you can start with less minutes and slowly increase the time while you are building stamina, resistance and increasing flexibility 🙏
Hi there im on medication for depression everyday (Kratom) I have read everywhere that its not good to do kundalini yoga while on any drugs. Will this ruin my kundalini yoga progress? :(

Sat nam- Thank you for the great sessions, I'm really enjoying it so far. I do find it difficult though to meditate while focusing on the tip of my nose. I think it's partly because my left eye nearly is blind and it just takes to much effort to keep my eyes in that position. Is it ok if I close my eyes and focus on the third eye instead? While the eye focus is specific to evoke certain state of mind, if it is uncomfortable and you find it’s hard to maintain feel free to close your eyes.
