This, to me anyway, is more than just a Machinima. This is a time capsule. This video won't ever age, because the music and feel aren't tied to the latest popular genre like rap, or most current home-animation advance, like the omnipresent SFM battle montages. Even the very models, characters and some of the animations are timeless now, since their eventual removal from the game leaves them standing beyond the passage of expansions. So if we ever want to take a step back, before Garrisons, Pandas, Deathwing shattering the land; if we want to hear the voice that defined a generation of videos; or if we miss the creativity and bonkers imagination that Machinima could mean (and thank you to those who still hold it up, I'm talking about the majority though) - all one need do is load up this video. Vanessa isn't the legacy of Edwin Vancleef. This is.
Nope, I regularly just pop back to this video because I love the style. I've never come across another WMV that just said "hey, you know what, let's just go Disney"
one of my favourite things about this movie is the fact that you incuded the lore about the defias bandits and how they came to be (rebuilding stormwind and then lady prestor/onyxia denying them payment) ended in massive riot and the queen of stormwind ended up dead by accident really one of the best alliance lores there is and to bad it only ended up as a tiny part of alliance level/questing
This video will always hold a special place in my heart because in the 8th grade my friend and I contacted you asking for an instrumental track of this so that we could use it for a school project about Andrew Jackson and, amazingly, you gave it to us. Thank you so much. Ol' Hickory's Life was a hit in our history class; they asked us to sing it twice. We couldn't have done it without your amazing work at this amazing song.

I feel you Antonio. I have made several attempts to fall back in love with WoW as they would drop their new expansions and so on.
