Wow....The Secret Stream....What a beautiful story. Thank you Don for opening the window to your fishing pilgrimage ...and for reminding us of how we can experience the beauty and the power of nature's offerings within such a humble and gentle interaction.
Yeah wow. was the first time i’ve experienced from a filming point of view, cannot believe how spooky the fish are, even 20ft away they would take off! Fishing season closed here now but looking forward to fishing there myself. Do you fish big rivers also?
@@PureAdventureFlyFishing Not very often. Our streams are typically smaller spring creeks and freestone in nature. They vary in size from 2-3 feet wide on the small side and maybe 50 feet max on the larger size. I prefer the smaller streams.
@@PureAdventureFlyFishing Both really! I have researched that spot for a long time I know all about it. And still haven't got there yet. So it was awesome to watch. I also just put a fresh video up yesterday of me fly fishing the Eucumbene river and I have a bunch more video's too so maybe give them a watch for me. Not quite as serious and well put together as yours though mate! hahaha! Keep them coming mate I can't wait to see your next edit. Thanks!

Warm greetings, P A! I live in the state of Oregon, USA. I hope this gem that you were blessed to experience is never revealed to anyone. When people discover a place of this kind they have a tendency to either "Love it to death" or destroy it outright, human nature being what it is. I'm afraid that even seeing a video can send some scrambling for the GPS and topo maps. One of the purest experiences I can imagine is being on a little stream as it wakes up in the morning. I hope you are able to revisit this experience for many years to come. Thank you so much for sharing your time there and for replying to me.
@@PureAdventureFlyFishing I live in the Southern suburbs of Sydney and fish the Snowy region, New England, and Blue Mountains, basically anywhere and everywhere; I also do a lot of salt water fly fishing as well being close to the coast and a number of decent estuarine systems. I've also been fortunate to fish New Zealand once or twice (and on one occasion three times ) a year for the past 15 years , Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho a couple of times and for Bonefish in Venezuela (Los Roques), so fly fishing has given me a lot of life experiences. I mentioned keeping your location secret as it seems these days a lot of people simply don't do their homework and want information dished up to them. I must say I just love doing the map checks and gleaning information from articles or conversations. Again, great job on your video!
@@TheActionStack why can't go exploring and find your own secret spot? Just want him to put in all the effort and give it away 🤣 Google maps and go explore yourself and learn.

Nice touch with the cray .
I’ve never, ever seen a stream quite like that. Fantastic drone footage.
Thanks for your comment, I have lived in BC for a year, those rivers are monsters!!! Great fishing!
is there also rainbow and brook trout in the creek?
Love the drone footage. The way it moves almost feels like flowing water.
Thanks New King James, love the aerial perspective!!! Great way to spot fish ahead also! lol
There is a real art to this style of fishing I can really appreciate. Great stuff gents!!!
Thanks for your support Christian! We love it too. More coming! Where do you fish?

Glad you enjoyed it Diane
I love this type of fishing. Small streams, grassy banks, spooky trout. Reminds me so much of our streams in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin!
