    Same number of empty spaces? The final tie breaker should always be a dance off.

    • @c.cooper2877
      @c.cooper2877 4 года назад

      I note the exception: Sea Dracula, where a dance off is used as the main mechanic in the game and thus would not be an interesting tie breaker.

    When you add a level to a tower block do you gain additional people for the new top floor, or is only the tile showing the one that provides people? Ie if my 3 level tower block has 1 person on the first level, 2 on the 2nd and 1 on the 3rd floor, do I have 4 people I can assign or just 1?Great job as usual!

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  8 лет назад

      +Lloyd Crosby Each tile you place gives you the pictured resources (even if it's going on top of another tile). So in your example, yep, you'd have 4.

    Hi Rodney. I just ordered this game so I'm revisiting your excellent tutorial video. Just one question I had. Do the public service buildings give you the points on the top left even if they aren't activated? The activation only allows the further scoring of building per district? I thought that might be the case because it seems the item in the top left, usually resources or residents, you get straight away. But then I thought if the building is removed before scoring because it's not activated then you wouldn't score anything.
    Wow this question rambled on for longer than I expected! Well done if you read this far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 лет назад

      Thanks for checking out the video! The public service buildings will only grant points if they are activated at the end of the game. Unlike the regular buildings, these do not provide their "benefit" right away.

    Is there any way you could do a How To Play on Fury of Dracula 3rd Edition? I can't quite wrap my head around the rulebook and I've heard there's many inconsistencies, so I'm even more lost.
    Keep up the great job!

    • @WatchItPlayed

    Thanks for another great instructional video.
    How does this game work with 2 players? Are there city building games that play better with 2 players?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  7 лет назад

      I avoid reviewing, as I can't say what you'd like in a 2 player game, but we do have a full play through of it with 2 players, if you'd like to see how it works: ruclips.net/video/XKcAPCw1BKM/видео.html

    • @deanlowdon8381
      @deanlowdon8381 7 лет назад

      Wow, wasn't expecting such a quick response! I'll give your run through a look and maybe post on the forums at boardgamegeek to see some other suggestions.
      Thanks again for all the work you do on these videos, much quicker and easier to follow than having to run through the rulebook every time I play a new game.

    Based on the stacking rules, would you be able to place a tower on any board space if the #1 architect was used, since it is the first floor on any space?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  8 лет назад +1

      +Matthew Cozza No, because in that case, the 1st floor isn't stacking on top of anything.

    • @matthewcozza610
      @matthewcozza610 8 лет назад

      +Watch It Played Good to know. I think Eric Martin had said you could in his video overview, and I wanted to clarify. Thanks. :)

      +Matthew Cozza No trouble at all.

  • @michelericvelleman7397

    I'm confused: on page 2 of the classic rules, in the set-up of the game, it is mentionned that "In a 3-player game , do not TURN (NOT REMOVE, emphases mine) the buildings marked with a 4". Same logic for 2 players with the tiles 3/4 and 4. To me it makes more sens to still have them, but un-identified; so that you still have available tiles even with all the previous architects placed; only you're buying blind. Was there a reprint of the rules that mention to remove them?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  7 лет назад +1

      This was a slightly confusing aspect to the rules. You are not allowed to collect the face down tiles. So, for me, it has always been easier to remove them, so it is clear that they are not in play. This was something I brought up on BGG with the designer: boardgamegeek.com/thread/1539805/wait-can-you-collect-face-down-buildings - hope that helps!

      @michelericvelleman7397 7 лет назад

      Perfect, thanks for the precision: the case is closed! And looking forward to the next video: you're my first source of info when questions arrise after the 1st "overview" playthrough of any game!

    When can we activate a building

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  5 лет назад

      You can re-allocate your Resources on your Buildings freely and with no limitation at any time during the game (Inhabitants and Energy Units). Only at the end of the game must you decide how you want to allocate them for good in order to maximize your VPs before the scoring begins.
