      I read Russian authors in high school, but I went there for the first time back in 2018. I went to St. Petersburg and loved it. After leaving St. Petersburg I went to Estonia and Latvia. It was a great trip and I recommend that one go there if one can get a visa. Totally worth it!

      I was born and raised in Boston. In my neighborhood we had many different immigrants from Ireland, Poland, Albania, Russia, to name a few. Each group had social clubs where they serve their food and play their music and drink.Im not sure if they were open to the public, but friends or neighbors sometimes invited you to a party at one. I've been lucky to have grown around different cultures. This was in the 70s, and I don't live there now, so I don't know if those clubs are still around.

      u r not correct. people in Russia don't smile in general. it's not like somewhere when the smile means being polite, but if Russian smiled to you it means you became a friend or someone really liked you.

      The only thought could be is that Ukraine is a scam of US oligarchs and private funds and they wash your printed money there killing ukranians. And we, russian, try to keep alive our russian people who were left outboard in 1991 in such russian cities as Donetsk or Odessa.
      So sit there tight, take US propaganda shit out of your head and look after your local problems, man

    • @Матьгородоврусских
      @Матьгородоврусских 5 месяцев назад +2

      Why not! I have thoughts about Ukraine....This is a thieves' bandit farm with a pro-NATO Nazi regime in power, whose heroes are fascists who served in the SS to Hitler, Bandera and Shukhevych, who killed Poles, Russians and Jews, and they wear their portraits on torchlight processions, as under the 3rd Reich, and pray very much on them. And the EU turns a blind eye to this, apparently, they remember the past and they have revanchism... There are many photos and videos on the web about these processions and photos of Ukrainian flags mixed with flags of SS Galicia and with a swastika. Take a look at your leisure... And the bastard Lenin gave them 2/3 of the territory and created the Republic of Ukraine as part of the USSR. And when the USSR collapsed, Ukraine has withdrawn from the composition along with the Russian lands where they are killing the Russian population and all those who disagree with their fascist ideology since 1014. Russophobia is the only thing left there...Goebbels once said: "Give me the media and I will turn any society into pigs!".... That's what happened to Ukraine...
