It was the last day of the New Years Swell on 12-31-2023. La Jolla Shores had some over head waves still rolling through on the sand bars. The lineup since it was the shores, was definitely crowded. The waves were consistent
and were 4-6 foot faces but occasionally the bigger sets would make an appearance. The rights were still pretty hollow but you needed to pull right into the barrel off the take off or else it would pass you by.
