I think my favorite Devil is still Rowan Atkinson in LIVE. Not scary, but very funny 😂😂 Al Pacino in Devil's Advocate is in many ways the scariest, not because the movie is scary, but because it is so realistic to how people go astray and are tempted into evil

I am 100% seeking out "The Devil Rides Out" now because that sounds absolutely badass...streamed Scars of Dracula last night, first time Ive watched in years getting ready for the Kino 4k release and I am in that Hammer film vibe right now so, I cant wait to watch The Devil Rides Out!!!!
Awesome list of Devil movies. I'll tell you one that scared me as a kid in the 80's that came out in 1975 called "Race with the Devil" I think it's only able to be found on DVD. I'll have to rewatch it and see if it's actually scary or if it just scared me as a kid.

I checked the site just now and saw the double feature blu-ray was sold out that I was referring to earlier, only the DVD is left for $5.99 (w/Race with the Devil). Both of those movies are pretty cool though. Susan George is in the other one, she was a smoke show for sure! I would be surprised to see either one of those get a 4K though.
Nice Darkness reference Legend is such a great film Tim Curry crushed that role. Recently revisited Bedazzled it’s a remake I preferred Shortcut to happiness with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Ghost ship is pretty solid. Crossroads has been on my list I need to watch it. Haha self promotion. Devils advocate is so great. There’s a Rosemarys Baby prequel coming. I tried to like the Ninth Gate all the stuff I love I just couldn’t get into it when it came out not sure if a revisit will change that. The Prophecy is something else I completely missed. Great list

On the top werewolf movies, I would have included Company of Wolves .. Great effects and enjoy the fairytale theme and stories. I mentioned The Devil's Rock before. A film called the Shrine which had an actress from Supernatural in who was Dean's love interest for a few seasons.. The 1988 version of The Unholy was really good. That would make a great video

I love your list. My list might include The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman 1956. Even the Vatican has that one on a list. Bergman himself lost his faith and this film is an expression of that. A knight plays chess with Death…and more. I also like Disneys Fantasia but most kids couldn’t cope with Fantasia today. I hope I’m wrong though. The other 7 movie, The Seventh Sign with a very young and pregnant Demi Moore has the devil, or is he Jesus, I just don’t know and I like to think that’s deliberate. You’re right, thinking of a movie with the actual devil is hard. Maybe The Witches of Eastwick?

Ohhhh yes…I love “Devil’s Advocate”. Also, pls add “The Blackcoat’s Daughter“ to your devil watchlist. It kind of messed me up psychologically. Either people hate it or love it. Thanks for informing me of "Constantine", I've never heard of it. I'll definitely watch it. And "Needful Things" I see in your clip has the actor (Don Davis) from Twin Peaks, and ironically, as you said, it has a character named Leland. If you know anything about "Twin Peaks", the character on that show who was possessed by a dark devil-like entity is also named Leland...it was Laura's dad. Whenever I think of the Devil, I always think of an X Files episode where Scully has to protect a girl from the Devil and it's a man whose shadow looks like the Devil. Oh... and Mulder from the X Files (David Duchovny) was also on Twin Peaks, he played a woman. It all comes back to Twin Peaks, I guess. 😅

The only film in this list I' haven't seen is your #1: "Needful Things." I remember seeing the trailers in the theater; the music was Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" and that has remained in my mind for over 30 years.

Robert Zemeckis produced a few very underrated horror movies under Dark Castle, 13 ghosts, Gothika and House of Wax and ive always been a huge fan of What Lies Beneath but i think that was dream works

I highly recommend the film Antrum. Not many have seen it, but it's a creepy movie/docu drama about the Devil. It was marketed as the most cursed film ever made.
I love house of the devil. I don't know anyone personally that's seen it besides me. Have you ever seen the Tales from the Crypt movie, Demon Knight? I love that one but maybe it wouldn't fit in the category.
2 movies that are missing are Angel Heart starring Robert DeNiro as Lou Cypher. The other one was shot twice is House Of Exorcism and Lisa And The Devil both directed by Mario Bava. Also, one of my favorite Hammer films, The Devil Rides out starring Christopher Lee as the protagonist. Another one is a Children's film called Santa Claus. It's a Mexican Kiddie Matinee that was released in 1959 and and was released in the States through K. Gordon Murray. At the time Santa Claus 🧑🎄 wasn't familiar to children in Mexico so they made the villain a Demon called Pitch. There's a scene showing Pitch in Hell with damned souls walking around with veils over their heads. Last mention is the 1994 ABC miniseries of Stephen King's The Stand. It was far better than the CBS remake.
It is interesting that you mention The Stand...I thought about including it but having read all of Stephen King's books, it isnt clear that Flagg is the devil or is actually part of an unholy trinity where a true devil sits atop or if he IS the devil and there is a higher evil being than him that sits atop...probably could have still included it though, I love that original series
Yeah, after being burned by other distribution companies, we backed off of a deal to release it....so, until I find a distributor or self release it on streaming etc, the only copies of Dark Roads 79 are the limited amount of blurays that were pressed for me to sign and sell as a guest of days of the dead and other horror conventions....I have basically been selling them for $25 each until they are gone ....a few of my other films are still playing out their streaming rights windows though
@GATURKS I think Bring Me A Dream is available on physical media on Amazon etc still - maybe realm of souls too... The only physical media copies of dark roads and creature feature that are left are the blurays that were special pressed for me to sign and sell at horror conventions and I have been selling them directly for $25 with extra swag but when they are gone they gone lol...I'm trying to get dark roads put out on physical media
bedazzle is a remake of an old Dudley Moore and Peter Cocks movie of the same name. The remake having LIz Herley as satan was an interesting twist. I believe it was seven wishes not three. since it like to represent the seven deadly sins. 2 that are not a horror movies I would like to mention are Oh God, You Devil. it was the last of the Oh God trililigy staring the last Goerge Burns. he place a duel rule in this one. he played both God and The Devil. the other one was a weird one from Disney. this was a strange early 80's disney movie called The Devil and Max Devilin. now this no doubt would butts of jokes because the person who plays the devil is Bill Cosby. Yeah, you got that right. it a strange movie btw. Constantine is a good movie and there was a short live tv series with a different actor but still good. his version of constantine has appeared in many of the WB DC shows like Arrow and mostly one season of Legend Of Tomorrow. Devil Advocate is a bit slow but the finel 20 minutes is worth the wait. Al really ham it up here. End of Days it a fun movie but also a mix bag. the Unholy is a interesting movie staring Ben Cross as a Priest and it pretty decent. the prophecy is an interesting fun movie. needful things is pretty good.
The movie isn’t good but it does have a strong cast is Witches of Eastwick. Jack Nicholson is Satan himself and he gets beaten to a pulp by Cher , Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeifer.
all great movies. as i watching i was thinking of some others. "The evil" (1978) with richard crenna. its a possessed house run by the devil. "the first power" lou diamond phillips, a detective tracking down a satanic killer, "fear no evil" (1981) a murderous priest's soul calls to a bullied teen in school who slowly becomes possessed by the devil, complete with magic powers.

Here is one that not a bunch of people have seen, but it is quite good. Jeff Goldblum plays the devil in Mister Frost from 1990.

I highly recommend the film Antrum. Not many have seen it, but it's a creepy movie/docu drama about the Devil. It was marketed as the most cursed film ever made.

I love house of the devil. I don't know anyone personally that's seen it besides me. Have you ever seen the Tales from the Crypt movie, Demon Knight? I love that one but maybe it wouldn't fit in the category.

2 movies that are missing are Angel Heart starring Robert DeNiro as Lou Cypher. The other one was shot twice is House Of Exorcism and Lisa And The Devil both directed by Mario Bava. Also, one of my favorite Hammer films, The Devil Rides out starring Christopher Lee as the protagonist. Another one is a Children's film called Santa Claus. It's a Mexican Kiddie Matinee that was released in 1959 and and was released in the States through K. Gordon Murray. At the time Santa Claus 🧑🎄 wasn't familiar to children in Mexico so they made the villain a Demon called Pitch. There's a scene showing Pitch in Hell with damned souls walking around with veils over their heads. Last mention is the 1994 ABC miniseries of Stephen King's The Stand. It was far better than the CBS remake.
It is interesting that you mention The Stand...I thought about including it but having read all of Stephen King's books, it isnt clear that Flagg is the devil or is actually part of an unholy trinity where a true devil sits atop or if he IS the devil and there is a higher evil being than him that sits atop...probably could have still included it though, I love that original series

Yeah, after being burned by other distribution companies, we backed off of a deal to release it....so, until I find a distributor or self release it on streaming etc, the only copies of Dark Roads 79 are the limited amount of blurays that were pressed for me to sign and sell as a guest of days of the dead and other horror conventions....I have basically been selling them for $25 each until they are gone ....a few of my other films are still playing out their streaming rights windows though

The only physical media copies of dark roads and creature feature that are left are the blurays that were special pressed for me to sign and sell at horror conventions and I have been selling them directly for $25 with extra swag but when they are gone they gone lol...I'm trying to get dark roads put out on physical media
bedazzle is a remake of an old Dudley Moore and Peter Cocks movie of the same name. The remake having LIz Herley as satan was an interesting twist. I believe it was seven wishes not three. since it like to represent the seven deadly sins.
2 that are not a horror movies I would like to mention are Oh God, You Devil. it was the last of the Oh God trililigy staring the last Goerge Burns. he place a duel rule in this one. he played both God and The Devil.
the other one was a weird one from Disney. this was a strange early 80's disney movie called The Devil and Max Devilin. now this no doubt would butts of jokes because the person who plays the devil is Bill Cosby. Yeah, you got that right. it a strange movie btw.
Constantine is a good movie and there was a short live tv series with a different actor but still good. his version of constantine has appeared in many of the WB DC shows like Arrow and mostly one season of Legend Of Tomorrow.
Devil Advocate is a bit slow but the finel 20 minutes is worth the wait. Al really ham it up here.
End of Days it a fun movie but also a mix bag.
the Unholy is a interesting movie staring Ben Cross as a Priest and it pretty decent.
the prophecy is an interesting fun movie.
needful things is pretty good.

The movie isn’t good but it does have a strong cast is Witches of Eastwick. Jack Nicholson is Satan himself and he gets beaten to a pulp by Cher , Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeifer.

all great movies. as i watching i was thinking of some others. "The evil" (1978) with richard crenna. its a possessed house run by the devil. "the first power" lou diamond phillips, a detective tracking down a satanic killer, "fear no evil" (1981) a murderous priest's soul calls to a bullied teen in school who slowly becomes possessed by the devil, complete with magic powers.
