Wait, the sloth's name is Gaston? Oh....
    No one's slick as Gaston
    No one's quick as Gaston
No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston's

See this is what you must understand about Sloths Gaston was hurt they took Gaston in fed Him healed Him loved him never did anything bad to him, but the moment they go to move Him he is in total defense fearless attack mode. That is what a wild animal is, though even big cats or bears have been known to appreciate there caretakers - 'Not Sloths' , they are quirky bunch, don't get me wrong they are so beautiful, it sucks so bad if you could only reach them on an emotional or mental level of some kind they would be perfect pets, but you cant you can raise them from the time they come out the womb and that happens a lot abandoned newborns are the most prevalent orphan, but in a years time (give or take a few months) a switch goes on and they are gone they forget you. They do stay around there real Moms for up to 2 years and even come back to visit but that reunion is limited to an identification sniff , a glance and I will stay over here on this branch thank you. They are solitary animals no friends they do reproduce effectively that's where there strength as a species lays but they pretty much- mate then hate now there are many very docile sloths but these animals are fighters survivors and will be around I hope for a long time.

Honestly them being solitary is a blessing, could you imagine the headache it could cause trying to reintegrate a healed sloth into its pack?
