- I really like this SWR/Watt meter! I waited too long to do the review so it looks like the link points to a new version.. In any case you get a lot for the price and it covers 6m.

I will never think of words "dummy load" in the same way again :)
🤔😆👍
I now understand how some people I know got pregnant
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮
I choked on my coffee with the “fictitious charge” comment. 😅😂
They have a 200w pro version now too
Really useful video. It prompted me to buy one, and now I have been using it to figure out the power output on a couple QCX radios using various batteries.
It also showed me that one QCX was putting out twice the power of the other one, so it is a great bit of kit for the home brewer ham.
Thanks again!
Rob, VK4SSE
I have one. It's good on 100w
Very nice! I made a cheap mag loop poweroutput indicator using an led and a torrid to keep my station small. Seeing this is much more appealing. Love the dummy load vrs fictitious charge tidbit made me laugh!
Definitely on the list. Most of the stuff from China in fairness,is great. It’s where most of my stuff comes from.
Yep, too bad it finances the CCP, but nobody else builds stuff these days..
No way.. I was searching for something like this seconds ago then I get the notification. Must be a sign 😂😂. 73 Gil.
Nah, I read minds!
@@RadioPrepper 😂😂😂 hahaha. Must be because we are both sailors and amateur radio operators hahaha.
It needs a lil 50-500 mhz buddy!
Nice Device!
A no-calibration-needed swr meter is a welcome accessory!!!
Thank you for another awesome video. You actually made me snort my coffee out through my nose when you mentioned DNA.

Woo Hoo- another RP review !
Just sweet... 💯👍🙋♂
i like that small and portable
*"Dreyfus charge"* _(Fictitious charge)_ 😂
Gil! Thank you for another awesome video. ✋73's🎙 KD9OAM🎧📻📡
"Dummy load", "fictitious charge"? Why not use the correct technical word - "termination" (which works both in French AND English... 😄 ) Looks like a nice little unit, but I'd REALLY need to see what's inside. The RF coupler design and manufacture is the key to quality and accuracy - the rest is just math and mcu!
The one I had I couldn't get it to run off my Xiegu G 90 to my Mag Loop.
Small and powerful. The Amazon link seems to be a different model or brand though.
Je ne connaissais pas ce modèle. Merci beaucoup Gil ! 👍 👍 👍 73. Jacky 14FRS119
"Fictious charge" > "dummy load" 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the review. I am curious if you tested it against any other SWR or power meters you have to see if the readings are close?
Hi, no.
850w wow
The reading doesn't stay on the screen?
I think it does but I did not transmit for long, not sure..
You mention it handles up to 850W. The linked item says 120W peak?
Where do I say 850W?
@@RadioPrepper 0:35
Je dis "of a hundred and fifty Watts," pas "eight hundred and fifty Watts."
@@RadioPrepper Ok thanks. Sounded like 850 to me. I read it on another post here as well. Thanks for clarifying, just checking. Thanks for the reply.
