Vlad is my neighbor; I’ve known him for about 10 years. I’m 29 years old. He always engages with the younger generation, which is why he looks so well-preserved😁👍
He is the kind of Foreign person the Philippines needs more of, professional, educated, good moral character and a stable individual. We don’t care more people go to Thailand because many of them are not the ones that fit in our society.
He discovered the secret of the Filipinos! The magic of smiling, the importance of living the moment. He actually found the true essence of life in the Philippines - finding happiness in sharing ones blessings ❤️
I’m married to Filipina as well… 5 kids and 4 grandchildren later, Cebu was for sure our favorite city we lived in … we are in Numancia/Kalibo now, but still love our visits to Cebu. The best air. The best weather. And beautiful landscape and people.
As much as we love our own country, there are so many countries that we also cherished and adore. I belived primarily what makes a.country beautiful is its people and everything follows eventually.❤
Wow you have a very interested guest man. He really enjoyed his life to the fullest. I like his energy and his attitudes towards a happy life. His family especially small childrens are surely envigorating him.
I like him . He is an optimistic, Wise , active , Passionate, man with purpose.Inspiring guy 💖 & He is in the right place , the Beautiful 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭. & At his age , Im Happy he is in the 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 You wont feel lonely in d Philippines. People are caring & Lots to do in the Ph , Keep urself busy ,productive & U can enjoy nature safely, Pinoys are caring.
This is your best interview so far. Lots of wisdom and insightful evaluations of Filipino culture. I hope you can interview his 50-year-old son, as well.
I loved & enjoyed your vlog. Its a wonderful & brilliant conversations. Vlad's brilliance is limitless. I love his honesty & humility, Thanks from Manila. Good luck & God Bless.
thou Philippines lagged behind in its peers in SEA in terms of tourists arrivals, but still managed to have a way more quality tourists in the Philippines in terms of spendings and education.
So much wisdom just by listening to him 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I like what he said if you become more understanding to people on how they do things and allow them then you become a happier person.
i must say, this is probably the best session you have on this show. the guest is very articulate and your conversation seemed especially genuine; more organic in a sense. my favorite episode yet. great job and thanks!
"Dreams now, to see my daughters getting married". I like that...This is what Filipino parents dream for their children...Vlad is more Filipino now than Russian. Of course, every parent would want to see their children to be successful especially in this generation where women need to work hard like men but seeing them getting married gives them some sort of assurance that their children would be okay now that they're settled. Even until the 80's many parents would say that they can die in peace after their children got married.
great interview, Philippines and life insights, so humble, honest and real. Thank you for the interview and post, and for your guest for sharing so openly. Cheers from South Africa 🍻
I hope a lot of people like you sir very positive in life, while watching your smile while you are talking I realize I'm smiling too😊,God Bless you sir of helping a lot of my kababayan to have a job, thank you for this wonderful video 😊
Hey its Vlad! We used to ride motorcycles together and i sometimes run into him at random places in the island. Super cheerful guy always carrying a genuinely smile.
Very smart Russian - he enjoys life to the fullest, yet he fully understood his being human. He possessed a high level of IQ & EQ - easy to get along with.
Very nice interview. I’m an American, well educated, financially well off but chose the Philippines to have a nice stress free simple lifestyle after years of a daily professional grind. I have two wonderful daughters 37 & 40 but started another family here with a great Filipina partner and now a 19mo old daughter. I am so happy and delighted to be a father again at 62. I would like to have one more child. It keeps me young and happy and the Philippines is a great place to raise a child. I’m lucky to have the resources and time to start a family again. I like this gentleman’s perspective on life. I come across many Russians here and other foreigners from a variety of countries that make the Philippine experience more interesting. I’m happy and grateful for the Philippine culture to live in this smiling country. ☮️🇺🇸
Im Filipino 100% traditionally raised but I freed myself with this stereotype to support financially to parents as mandatory for some families. Im a mother too but I give my son his freedom without asking him for anything in return. Especially now that he graduated in college we have our different way of life. Ive used to support myself when I was young and my the late mother herself way back time she didnt have any headache for me. What life would ne its our way to live. Its a freewell to support your parents but not obligatory at all... Parent who asking in return from their children seems they're having business😂.... Freedom is always given..❤❤❤
@@neeldani7450 no I dont abandon my parents. Its kinda of situation that we dont need to support them, sort of living independently by all means financially its not necessary to give them. We've make a living in our own ways to live the life without obligatory in returns.
I must say that supporting your family is not forced. Filipinos do it because of"charity begins at home" If you are the more blessed one & you want to share your blessings, why not? I am glad that my 22-yr old has not forgotten his aunties when he immigrated. He is a working student but once in a while he sends $100 to me n my sister. We have told him to refrain from it but he still continue. Then I realized, let him be for if we discouraged him, he might end up a selfish man. Then we would be respnsible for that. It is his choice, not forced. And I am happy that he has grown to be a fine man at 22. I am sure he will be rewarded by God for not being selfish, for sharing his blessing. Bless his heart. Am so proud of him & we cant help but give credit to him. ❤
@@tessjohansson77good that you are financially well but he was obviously talking abt our less privileged Filipinos. Ako lucky to have a nephew with a big heart. Come to think of it, if we stop him then he might end up selfish then kasalanan na namin yun. He gives perhaps as gratitude for being the aunties who took care of him while his mother was abroad. And since he has the means to help, he decided to share his blessings. He is a working student but he is not on student loan and he is living with his mother n step father. Loverly video what a nice interesting guy, shares many of my same thoughts let’s hope his dream works out to sees his beautiful daughter walk down the aisle 👍🏼😀
Two types of Women in the Phil foreigners dont know. Undergraduate and Graduate( Professional)Mostly of Filipino women looking for foreigners dont have any degree and the only way to give their family a better life is to marry a wealthy ( hoping)foreigner. But for Career/ Professional preferred Filipino men their age and work harder to give their family a better life. So not all Filipino women like foreigners.
Bisaya women of Cebu, Bohol, Samar, Leyte, and Negros Or. are AFAM hunters. Usually blacks are disregarded in Cebu and Dumaguete but they eventually get women in Samar. That's why there are too many black people in Samar.
@@Lenilugz5406 Mostly yes because these women believe that having an AFAM means having a Better life. But those who have a degree/finished college regardless whereever they are, opted to look for a decent job to support their family.
Yes the more organized person, and who wants order the unhappy they are. Sometimes we need to live Life As It Is . Unhappiness usually is self- inflicted. Good talk, this is great 👍
As foreigners , it’s good to meet a woman who is more or less of your level, family background , and education. Living here in Germany, some can be chaotic also. I think it depends on the upbringing and educational background.
Vlad is so on point and has adopted well to the Filipino way of life. I'm a Filipino living in the U.S. for 40+ years now. I've visited Philippines in 2023 and May of 2024. All I could think about now is my next visit and have been entertaining the thought of buying a property there with my wife and retiring and immerse ourselves in the beautiful Filipino culture again.
