Hi mine is a 1972 J model but the taps were changed after the K model because only a single feed was required to the gang carbs instead of three feeds to three independent carbs. however the diaphragms were all the same.
Question about the diaphragm, one side of the thin rubber has the hole but the other side does not, the side for the spring does not and the metal circle on it has no hole like yours. Is that ok?
Hi. The design changed with later models so its possible. Try putting tube on vacuum feed and gently suck. You should feel/hear it moving back and forward.
They sell them on this site hard-to-find-parts.de/epages/aff9fb37-1c0b-4b3c-8be3-a10a53d7f9b8.mobile/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/aff9fb37-1c0b-4b3c-8be3-a10a53d7f9b8/Products/%22VS%2044300-31051Membrane%22&ViewAction=ViewProduct
the early fuel taps are a different design to later ones, models GT 380/550/750 J/K have an early designed fuel tap like the one in the video LATER models 1974 onwards have a later designed tap NOT all fuel taps are the same GT 550/750 share the same fuel tap GT 380.250 etc are DIFFERENT TAPS the second series of 5 digits in the original 10 digit suzuki part number are stamped onto the front plynth mounting on the tap itself that helps to identify what model bike the tap was made for ,many of these can look the same but there are differences by model regards
Thank you for posting this. Much appreciated!
The screws are not Phillips, but JIS (Japan Industrial Standard) :)

I heard you mention the diaphragm is available for purchase. Do you know any online retailers that carry it?
