    When I sold my home about a year ago I down sized as its only me and my fur babies now. I splurged and made myself a beautiful dream quilting and sewing room, it’s truly my happy place. I was shopping at IKIA with my daughter when I came upon a electric adjustable table it was a little pricy and was going to pass and go with the hand crank one (they had both) my daughter talked me into getting the one I really wanted as I have never splurged on myself ( always thinking of the kids, as we do as moms) so I purchased this table 62”x31.5” I have my sewing machine on half and cutting and organizing on the other and when I need a big cutting area I just slide the machine over. I too love the fact that I can adjust the height to prevent back pain also can sew from a standing position if wanted. Best purchase I ever made for myself. Love your videos and all your great tips and tricks, would love to do a sew along with you! ☺️☺️

    Good Morning from central Washington. My husband bought that table for me for Christmas a few years ago. I LOVE the fact that it is adjustable. A couple years he added a big drawer and that made it even better

    I have that work table, same size, no drawer, in white. It fits a 24" x 36" cutting mat with enough room for a small home made ironing station on the end. I chose not to have a drawer because when set at 36" tall there is room underneath to slide in my wheeled three tier cart. My sewing area is one half of a small bedroom/office, divided diagonally, so my set up is L-shaped with a closet of shelving in a second corner. Not huge but it suits me, and the versatility of the worktable makes it all work.

      I like the idea of having white! It would match my tool chests!!! I think I will keep using my black one though!!! Lol!

    Thanks for sharing this. I think your cutting mat is a gem also because many mats have grid lines sized to 24 inches and then with the outer edges of the mat are just slightly too large for many tables.

      @thesimplequilter7499  Месяц назад

      Yes, exactly!!!! That is why this mat fits perfectly!!! You really have to measure the overall size of the mat!

    I have 2 of these Husky tables. I Love them! They are budget friendly and cost a lot less than the genuine particle board with laminate coating tables that are double and triple the cost. I have my cutting mat on one (I use command strips to secure in place) and I made a removable ironing board to use with the other. Both tables can be rolled together, and height matched to use as a big surface when I'm binding my quilts (no drag and hefting the quilt) or have the grandkids over for a craft day. I have one with the 2 draws. The top drawer is only about 8" deep. It holds my rotary cutters and other tools. The bottom drawer is deeper and accommodates my rotating mat and my Cricut cutting mats that are about 13 x 13. the crank is very sturdy and easy on my hands. I bought magnetic hooks so I can store a couple of my frequently used rulers on the end. Great choice, Michelle.

    Both my cutting table (with drawers) and my sewing table (without) are adjustable. I love that I can sit or stand and adjust based on what I'm doing (cutting, sorting, having a Zoom meeting or sewing). I love an adjustable table.

    May have to look into one of these Husky tables. I am currently using an old computer desk that was rounded on the ends and my husband cut those off for me. Then he and a friend welded extensions to the legs that make it adjustable in height but you have to remove bolts and reposition into slots. It is also on wheels, but because of my very small space, it has stayed where it is. Thanks again for a nice informative video.

    I have two of them...one between the two sewing machines my daughter and I use...to catch the weight of a quilt. The other is downstairs in our bedroom and used as my sewing table in there in the odd moments I am waiting on my husband to be ready to do something. I so love them. I would love to have one as a cutting table with drawers and might someday get one. But I am short so need the table low that I sew on, so can't have drawers on it and because of where we have the other positioned, no sense in having them there. But they sure are well made.

    I''d love to have one of these adjustable tables. I put my old dining table on bed risers to make it the right height. It's 36" x 46" long so perfectly fits 2 of my cutting mats. These adjustable tables would just be too small.

    I was lucky to have been able to purchase 2 electric drafting tables when my work was upgrading the office. They are 37 X 50. They are end to end and I have my sewing machine on one and use the other for cutting.

    Love the husky tables. I have the 62" table, I did buy the 48" with drawers, but I couldn't sit by it to sew, the drawers were in the way, and if I raised it, it was too high to sew at. We returned it, and I got the 62". I sew on one end, have my serger on the other. I do a lot of standing to sew now, because I sit too much at work. Before I got the table, I had already gotten myself the husky white 9-drawer tool chest, I use that for my cutting and small ironing station. I love all the storage in those drawers. When I purchased an embroidery machine, my husband found a husky tool chest, with 3 drawers and 18"x 36" and is a bit higher than the cutting table and works perfect for the EM. We're working on a setting up a wooden workbench, from Harbor Freight, to make a larger ironing station. Everything is or will be on wheels. My room is not that big, so something may end up in the hall.😂

    I have a husky extended top tool box. It has a wooden top and also has many, many drawers. It is absolutely wonderful. It was a bugger to get up to my second floor though because it is so heavy but SO WORTH IT!

    I have the 52 inch white 2-drawer height adjustable Husky table. I bought mine on sale at Home Depot a couple of years ago. The 2 drawers are very thin. They hold my current ruler and a pad of paper, but will not hold a lot of thick items. They are handy to have, but limited due to their thin depth.
    I wish they came 30 or 32 inches wide rather than 24. 24 inches is a tad small I think. I’m considering buying a piece of plywood and having some 1x2 strips attached to the back of it to fit around my existing table.
    Like you, I love to keep things modular. I also bought (on sale) a motorized table for one of my sewing machines.
    The bases are heavy on both tables, so it makes for a very secure and stable surface to work on.

    I am not so lucky yo have this table. I use a folding table that is about 6 feet long and 24 " wide. It suts on bed risers so it is right hide for me. I have a second one of these that I also set up when sandwiching my quilts for machine quilting. It stores behind the one that is always set up for cutting. I set up a card table beside sewing machine and I use another sewing machine table behind my main table for FMQ. I am lucky to have 2 of these drop in sewing table for my two machines so my sewing surface is always level with machine bed. These tables also fold and have wheels so they can be portable. When I demonstrate FMQ, I can take one with me. Helpful. I would love one of your husky tables but these 2 long tables have served me quite well for a long time now.
