BMR all day FTW!!! My 98 is running upper and lower adjustable rears, fronts with springs along with Kmember road race version and kmember brace. Love it! Nice channel bud. Subbed
Your lucky you don't have an sn95 from the rust belt. My 04 is originally from New York now in the desert. I'll put it this way. The four big bolts for the k member were almost rusted in half....good vid
@@joshuahiggins5313 I’m not sure off the top of my head and I don’t want to give you wrong info. I’d look it up online, on the forums or the k member directions might tell you
Did you had the coils over stock adjusted to stock high? I replaced my K member with an Bmr and I putted back the stock high springs and they fit awkward, lowered the vehicle for about and inch or two. Upgrade the wheels to 18 inches and went up and inch .I will be replacing the springs with BMR 1 inch lowering springs and see if I could correct the awkwardness of stock springs.
I went with the strange coil over kit that is made for their struts. The kit comes with their own springs. Once we got them on the car, I just adjusted them to where I want the front to sit. I’m not sure how low that is but I know it’s lower than the stock springs
@@the_stable5534 The K-member you have is the KM731R, correct? Any increase in NVH driving on the street? No clearance issues with the Bassani mid length headers, correct? I am planning on using the KM743H next year or later on a 2001, with Bassani mid length too.
@@robertfirl8828 I believe that is the correct part number. I just went on lmr and bought the one for my year that was without the spring perches. Front end is definitely more noisy, and stiff. Probably the coil overs more than anything. As far as clearance, I didn’t have any issues. It gave me more space. Overall I love it, I don’t have any complaints but I also on DD my car.
We only did the lower arms and coilovers on the 99 vert and it made it so much sharper on turn in, I think your gonna like the new setup
The k member is something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile so I’m happy to have it done. That’s good to hear, I think I’m going to like it too!
im so happy that i found someone that is doing stuff with the 96s gts
I appreciate it! These cars don’t get enough love and mine definitely isn’t going anywhere!

That’s awesome! I love BMR, it’s been great so far! Thank you, I appreciate it🙏🏽🙏🏽
Very nice Stang, keep up the great work!
Thank you, and I will!
Nice video, if you ever decide to run your front sway bar in the future, get a steeda solid aluminum front sway bar bracket.
Thank you for the info, I’ll be sure to look into that!
Nice ass garage, bro!!
Great work, attention to detail and flow.
Awesome content. Just subbed.
Thank you! I appreciate it so much!!
YOU CAN TAKE A SOCKET THATS 1 SIZE TOO SMALL...TAP IT ONN WITH HAMMER...WORKS EVERY TIME
I went with the upr k member. Next i need to go tubular a arms and coil overs.
I seen that one as well, definitely another great option!
@@the_stable5534 i have a scheduled upload where i weigh the car. Mine is a 97 gt auto on a 125shot.

Wow, that’s insane! I’ve heard crazy stories about cars in the belt, I’m sorry to hear that. Thank you!
Yeah definitely lol . Currently dealing with the same thing with my gen 3 coyote swap . The crush sleeves are almost gone
Nice video bro ! How’s the bmr k member & control arms holding up
Doing great so far, no complaints! I Think it’s about time I do an update video on them

Torque specs on k member, too?
I have kooks headers I don't know if this k member would fit
What spoiler is that on your red mustang

Is where I got it from
The k member was bolt on and go right? I've heard something about squaring the member. NIce Sn95 man.
We did square it up but it wasn’t anything to difficult. Pretty much bolt on.
@@the_stable5534 okay good man. Any tips and tricks for the whole process?
@@christianibarra9438 honestly it was pretty straight forward so I don’t wouldn’t think about it too much
@@christianibarra9438there are some good videos out there if you search he doesn’t seem very helpful
What caster cambers are those.? I believe I have the same ones, but don't remember what company they are
How tough was getting the old K-member off?
@@joshuahiggins5313 it wasn’t too bad, just have to watch out for the power steering lines on the rack

How wide are your front rims . Some people have problems with 9 inch wide wheels and those coils
17x9, they are OME cobra rims. I haven’t noticed any issues. The car is down right now, but I’ll double check the clearance
@@the_stable5534 I'm running 18x9 and don't want to run into issues

Where did you support the engine from?Kinda hard to tell from a phone
Not saying this is the right answer but we used chains under the headers haha
You didnt give torque specs on oil filter housing
I believe they are the SVE from LMR and the torque specs I think was only 20 ft pounds
How's the k member after two weeks? 😅
I have absolutely no complaints, I wish I would have done it a long time ago lol
I'm interested for my 02' gt. Will this work with LT's?
I would imagine so, I have mid lengths on mine. You might want to reach out to BMR to be sure but I don’t see why it wouldn’t
