I watched this movie in 1994 and there are 2 scenes in this flick that changed my life as a young man . the train ride where Marlboro jumps after teaching Harley a lesson on Cool and this scene here. My life has been on the road wondering America and the World and it has had alot to do with what happened when I saw this flick. I took it to heart as a voice of wisdom how I should live and I thank you for such a great lesson and a Great Life. Now in 2024 at the age of 53 I have ridden through and around every main land state inside and across America, top to bottom. side to side at the sum of approximately 30,000 miles a year and now I can honestly say. "Come on Ill take you there" because when you scoot without a plan No matter where you end up its gonna be Fun.
A more realistic ending: 10 minutes into ride as the sun is setting Harley is tapped on the shoulder "My butt is sore don't you have a pillow?" "Can you stop I need to go to the bathroom?" "I dropped my lipstick can we go back for it?" "What do you mean you don't have a tent I'm not sleeping outside!" "Ugh you should have taken my way it's less bumpy"
Or she said 5 mins down the road.. Ohhh Harley please pull over I just gotta suck your rod while you smoke a cigarette and I'll swallow every last drop... "You don't have to do that honey" .. I just gotta Harley my Momma always said pay your way no matter what... "Ok honey let me pull over here behind this dumpster"
Why can't I find an ending to my old life like this ... and then starting again by riding off into the sunset with a beautiful woman and a great life ahead. I'm going to do it!!!
Well, to be fair, he just picks up some incredibly attractive random woman that gives him the quintessential fake smile and half-giggle while not knowing him and then went on his bike to possibly end up raped/murdered. About 25 years ago, I stayed overnight in a campground in Bishop CA. When I got up, a young man on a Harley packed up his bedroll and headed south on Highway 395. What a road to be on with a motorcycle.
lived in lone pine.
@@barryedwards1819 If I was a young man and single, I would love to live there or Bishop. I am a frequent visitor from Fresno to photograph the Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep.
Flawless ending 😎👍
Good Byes between brothers are the saddest ones :')
Leopoldo Astudillo that's right man. Two worlds came together for a season and then each had to go back to what they do best in their own world, it's what make them the best
Funny thing about it is they didn't get along at all during filming
@@mvol5973 Seriously? I was thinking they may have known each other: maybe grew up together? The astonishing chemistry between the two men is outstanding. This song ... is it by BonJovi?
That's one of the sweetest bikes ever!
Two great friends saying goodbye for a while, maybe for good. Very touching. Love this movie, classic.
Best ending ever,
TheDutyPaid I would have to agree
The best ending to a great movie!
One of my favorite movie endings “where ya headed?” Motorcycle rides off down the long road.
the best hug man to man hug in history
agree
Apparently, hugging Don was enough to turn him. The dude's a flamer now
Wrong. And then comes, "Broke Back Mountains. " 😆
you can feel it over here.
This is a pretty much happened when the 80’s ended.
80s and 90s ❤❤ best decades ever..women were real womean and dudes were real hard working dudes..no bs
Okay with everything that happened in this movie? That chick hitchhiking, was the most unbelievable part lol
One of the most underrated movies ever
Why Mickey regrets acting on this movie I don't know... Memories of my teen age!
No idea. I love this movie, must have seen it a hundred times over the years. Epic soundtrack too...
He said he only did it for the money and felt like a sell out.
Ran for money - act like god
Too low for him he thinks. But movie is great. Miss my childhood, miss Micky young. Miss my parents young. Miss 90's. We are happy in the past only.
Ahh the roads...everytime a new adventure, wonderful times!!
A more realistic ending: 10 minutes into ride as the sun is setting
Harley is tapped on the shoulder
"My butt is sore don't you have a pillow?" "Can you stop I need to go to the bathroom?" "I dropped my lipstick can we go back for it?" "What do you mean you don't have a tent I'm not sleeping outside!" "Ugh you should have taken my way it's less bumpy"
This movie doesn't need realism, so fuck it.
your comment made me laugh so fuckin hard I'am in tears. that sounds like my ex when she rode on the back of my bike
So True!!! Doc
And the next movie : BMW Gs and the Marlboro man...
Legendary movie .... start to finish Big John Studd passed 4 years after ,,
What every young guy who buys a motorcycle dreams of.
To get a piggyback ride from Mickey Rourke.
@@room007 , maybe 10 percent of guys.
Loved that movie!
On top of that, there's no rear seat.
You haven't found it because it's not real.
Wake up you clown .
black eyed Susan.....ride with me ...way underated band
@ Michael Babb
For real, it's John ''Crab" Corabi singing who later replaced Vince Neil in Motley Crue for a album and tour. He's still a great singer to this day fronting The Dead Daisies :)
That's Dean Davidson, formerly of Brittany Fox.
i always thought it was bon jovi!!! 😂🤣😂
Back when Rourke looked like Rourke. It would be great to see these two get together in another film.
His bike didn't even have a rear seat she was sitting right on the fender, she must have had a sore butt.
That bike was strutted too. She didn't ride more than a half mile like that.
Душевненькая концовочка☻учитывая что актёры не переносили друг друга на съёмках)))
This movie made me buy my first bike
A 91 springer softail…. I loved that bike
One of the best ending in movie history
Love the Evo sounds. Like heaven
Am I the only one who thinks that they should have had a sequel to this movie or even a remake of it but like in a tv series
If they made a sequel, they would screw it up so bad.
You and I both would probably hate it.
@@chrispelky8800 Yeah and remember this little fact.... Have you seen Micky lately?
To many films have a follow on which ruins it .sometimes one is enough, and this is one of them
Then we have to call it: Wheelchair and the cancerman...
NO!!! They would only fuck it up.
At last.... That was such a beauty... I haven't seen from a decade
